Sorry about the delay, still struggling though I'm a lot farther. I think I need to do some research for some grubby details. In the meantime ---
Here's a portrait of Glycerin that will make more sense if you're caught up with the story. I think I'll be releasing the next chapter tomorrow if I can keep at my current speed.

Okay, here it comes - chapter 15, I'm having to split it into several parts because of the forum software limitations.
Here's a visualization of their concert opener for amusement while I split out the chapter and post it. (I rather enjoy watching Blar and Tsika chase each other around on stage - 4:20+)

When I rewrite this, I'm going to split it across two chapters and cover the first day and the last day of the festival - expanding on the first day jitters and the rush from giving a large scale performance. Then put the surprise announcement in the last day of the festival. For now, I'm going to jump ahead to just after the festival and move on.

I was going to put a couple of videos from the charity benefit the band performs at but didn't like the results so far. So, here's a video or two of some "all ages night" one-night gigs they did around town at the same time period. Special note of Glycerin's new themed slacks ...

 Real life interventions. Plus I'm just having some challenges connecting story events in an interesting way. A small dump of a number of videos of performances at country fairs. I found making these quite amusing as I pulled the characters out of their normal molds.
Mississippi Queen She's Country Sin Wagon Any Man of Mine Life is a Highway (Rascal Flatts version ... I prefer the Tom Cochrane original but apparently he wasn't country enough for Disney (Cars)) Footloose Personal Jesus Basically, the first half of each performance was southernrock/rockabilly/country and then the band would shift into their normal stuff as soon as they thought they'd met the minimum of the contract. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ edit: this bit of steampunk cosplay made me think of Glycerin ...

Almost done with the next chapter, but got derailed a moment by this:
Jack Black, Lita Ford, Ozzie Osbourne and others doing the voice work for a metal fantasy RPG called Brütal Legend. Originally out in 2009 for xbox360, PS3, and now Steam-PC as of tomorrow. On sale for $14.99 right now on Steam (which isn't a bad price even for a mediocre game, averaged 85% or 8.5/10 on most review sites).
