I see that Kannagi is on the cover of this months Ichijinsha, Comic Rex #02. So I'm guessing we'll be getting the next chapter soon.

Well... the english translation Kannagi is dead in the water .... Bandai has stopped production (on anime and manga of all things). So its off to scanlations I suppose unless someone else picks it up. I've just about had it with the US manga licensee industry. They're simply too unreliable (ADV, Tokyopop, etc) and I can't seem to depend on them *finishing* a series a they start.

I'm better off buying the original Japanese version and either translating it myself or scarfing scanlations.

That's the reason why i don't buy as much manga anymore. Because you never know if a U.S publisher will finish translating the whole series.

I'm pretty crushed by Bandai's pull-out. Haven't done more than flip through vol.3 yet, but it doesn't appear to go past where the anime stopped.

So I suppose nobody has any information as to when more chapters are being released then. I just picked up this series and I really like it.

I read the chapter that everyone flipped out about, with the whole virginity thing, and I honestly didn't even notice that maybe Nagi wasn't "pure" somehow until I started looking at the reasons for the publication gap. Some vague proclamation of a boyfriend at some point in the past....I fail to see how that even means anything.

Anyway, I hope the series continues. I'm sure most people are still interested, right?

I'm interested but yeah ... its back to the scanlations because the english license manga distributor has dropped the series past volume 3.

Talk about convincing the customer base that they shouldn't even bother with legal access to manga (says the guy sitting with a partial english ARIA, etc ) ... :P

I just want to ask a quick question.

I have watched the Anime Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens some time ago and it was amazing.

I want to continue with the story where it left off, and want to ask, is Manga good?
If we look at the Manga and Anime, which is better and does story get better, more romantic, etc. ?
