Personally I really wish that they'll at the very least do the 765pro idols for a figma series line up but...there's the question of which costume and color they'd use. So many possibilities...though chances are they'll probably sell different ones at different events IF they ever do an iM@S line up.

...though I was surprised that they went with the iM@S:CG girls. What? Are they planning to release ALL (or at the very least the "popular" ones) of them? Which would be as awesome as it would be expensive for collectors to collect them all, I think they should just stick to the Nendoroid Petite line up for that.

Oh, and I just got my copy of the PETIT iDOLM@STER Twelve Seasons! Vol.2 Kisaragi Chihaya and Chihya. Not bad in general, two original songs, solo version of La-La-La-Wonderland, and a special "petit" drama track, which is the only place Chihya appears, don't know if it's just this CD or not but there's no puchidol vocals in the songs.

Though in this CD all the songs are rather upbeat for Chihaya. (by no means is that a bad thing) The first song "Choco Fondue" is a Valentine themed(?) song. Seems like they might do songs based on an event and/or holiday of the birth month for each idol or something? Since Chihaya's b-day is in Feb = Valentine.

I'm really looking forward to hearing Yayoi's solo version of La-La-La-Wonderland, just imagining it makes me smile.

Then there's Hibiki x Chibiki's CD coming out in...late March I believe. And ofcourse they're tempting fans to buy all 12 CDs by offering a special collector's box with a special illustration done by Akane-sensei for those that do. orz

I also picked up THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA MASTER 006 - Kanzaki Ranko. It wasn't actually half bad, I really like her song. I was also amused that they had two "talk" tracks. One of them is an translated interpretation of the first one as Ranko has chuunibyou and speaks accordingly in a confusing manner.

I just had a listen to Cinderella Master CDs 11-15. I like them better than the last batch. Twilight Sky sounds really nice.

I agree. With no offense to the composers, the last batch was quite stale in my eyes. This batch improved greatly, needless to say.

Favourites are Naked Romance, Twilight Sky and Angel Breeze. Hearing Touyama Nao mix between her usual cutesy idol voice and a more mature one in one song is awesome.

Just checked the official iM@S blog and it seems there will be no new DLC for Jan. They say that the next one will be available towards the end of Feb.

Lets see, other iM@S news:

A new iM@S social game is in the works, THE iDOLM@STER: MILLION LIVE!
They claim that all card illustrations is handled by A-1 Pictures, yes, the people that worked on the anime are going to be doing all the card illustartions. I wonder how many millions (possibly billions...I mean that as a joke now but...who knows?) of yen they're going to suck out of the fans wallets?

...lets see, what else? Oh they say that iM@S:CG now reached 3 million members.

And speaking of iM@S:CG, it seems that the series 3 CDs, #11~15, ranked in 5th~9th in the Oricon weekly chart! Woot!

...now, I'm off to go and listen to my Petit iDOLM@STER CD featuring Yayoi+Yayo.

...oh, and a quick reminder for figure collectors that the pre-orders for the Futaba Anzu and Shibuya Rin figma figures will start this weekend on the 10th and will run until the 18th on the GOOD SMILE ONLINE SHOP. There's also a limit of 3 per customer. Also note that they don't ship out til June...assuming there are no set backs...but there usually are with figma figures so I'd say maybe July~August-ish.

Having been feeling emotionally and physically detached from the iM@S Hustle, I...acquired Takane's petit iDOLM@STER CD thing, and I CANNOT get " I AM PRINCESS SNOW WHITE~" out of my head. I think I found a new song for the bumpin collection.

I can't help but notice that the Project Fairy idols have a good set of interactions on Puchim@s!; even if they aren't in their own separate group in this world, they still work well with (or off) one another.

I wonder how many people playing Im@s 2 make a point of grouping the Project Fairy trio together, and how well they gel in that game...

Been playing the Shiny Festa games for the PSP, which group the girls into 3 different groups:

1) Honey Sound is Haruka, Chihaya, Azusa, and Ritsuko, aka the INVINCIBLE TRIO + Ricchan.

I find that when it comes to solo songs I hardly ever use Ricchan; she only sings for Vault the Borderline and the 765PRO All Stars songs. Ain't it sad, Ricchan?

2) Funky Note is Iori, Yayoi, Amimami (counting as one

) and Hibiki. Haven't actually played it yet.

3) Groovy Tune is Miki, Takane, Makoto and Yukiho. I actually like their sound on Eden very much... also, something that amuses me: one of Makoto's songs, Jitensha, is all about a girl who rides her bike and Can Not Spit It Out to the person she likes. The Special Music Clip for that song implies that said person is Yukiho, and that Miki & Takane ship MakoYuki. XD

Oh, and each idol gets 2 solos on each game. Thankfully, Chihaya got Yakusoku and Me Ga Au Toki, and unlike Episode 26, when singing Me Ga Au Toki, Chihaya-chan is invincible, in the same way that Akari is invincible when rowing backwards. XD

So far I've been having great fun with this game(s). I just wish someone would sub the OVA episodes that come with it... this is the first time I've actually seen cutscenes being used as part of the gameplay; complete watching the entire OVA episode, all 4 chapters of it, and you get fans and cash.
