as for "OP characters are hated a lot", I toss in evangeline from negima as rebuttal. she's like the 2nd strongest character ever(1st if we ignore the mage of beginning, and nagi just beat her since she loved him) yet she's got like the biggest fanbase with only a handful of haters.
at least, majority of the users like her, unlike in some others like here where its divided evenly. I hardly remember any person who disliked eva, only that some prefer another character over her.

Wait... Is Nishio really going to have a side character who appeared just a few dozen chapter ago beat Iihiko? Seriously... It's like he's trying to force all these plot twists now just for the same of doing it. I'm half-expecting M. Night Shayalaman to pop out and say "What a twist!"

I'm actually beginning to think Nienami is Nishio's author avatar... As much as Ajimu was. Her purpose is to narrate things (like an author does with their story) and her name is Namanie Nienami almost a parallelogram... Kind of like Nishio Ishin.

this style is like a cheat button right, she can win againts medaka if she seriously uses this style. Iihiko's nothing with this style.

in the spoiler that i read, iihiko become afraid of medaka because whatever iihiko do with medaka she won't let go of iihiko's feet. (he even call her a monster many times while brutally attack her) He genuinely became less than a frenzied person right now because he acknowledge fear. Plus nienami can use her style like this:

iihiko already defeated by medaka just a moment ago while pointing to iihiko former body "therefore" you're not iihiko (shiranui's body)to reverse the effect. (maybe)

No matter how many times Nisio has his characters call Medaka a "monster", she never will be. She's just an excessively, annoyingly, entirely good person. Medaka's actions this chapter don't even remotely qualify as "monstrous". She is doing exactly what any remotely heroic character would do; if Zenkichi was in a situation like this and kept refusing to give up, the story would be treating him like the hero he would be.
And that is why Medaka will never be a compelling character in the least, because Nisio has absolutely no idea what he wants to do with this manga anymore.
