Spoiler for Episode 16:

Shinya, Akane and Kagari goes to the Nona Tower to arrest Shogo. Inside the tower, they encounter the helmet men trying to destroy the Sibyl System, and Shinya gets involved in a close combat against Shougo, but is heavily injured. Fortunately, Akane arrests Makishima though she's seriously suffering of her horrible flashback with him. Meanwhile, Kagari is invited by Choe, only to discover the horrible truth behind the Sibyl System. Joshu Kasei, the Comissioner who's actually a cyborg, kills Choe, while threatening Kagari with a Decomposer, a form of Dominator that was used to shoot non-human material. Being fully prepared in this episode, I must say the Sibyl System is actually an abomination against the society, although I can notice some flaws to this "perfect" system. I'm happy to see the awaited fight between Shinya and Shougo, and the animation was pretty fluid indeed. Poor Akane pitying over her encounter with the latter, and I feel her pain as well. However, I can't say Kasei is a good woman, since she's trying to give police officers a bad lesson and anyone who escape over horrible things must be a fugitive. I'm really starting to dislike her until proven otherwise. Other than that, what a masterful episode as Gen describes, and I will look forward to watch the 7 episodes left !

Seems like some scenes were altered compared to the version of this episode in episode 1.

Perfect episode by the way, hopefully it will stay at that quality.

...and then Tsunemori gets Makishima from behind.
Anyway, glad we finally caught up to the part from episode 1.

Kagari ends up dying after all, death flag confirmed when he seperated from Kogami and Tsunemori, though I thought he'd get killed by the terrorists.

The Chief at the end was unexpected, but it was already hinted earlier that she was a cyborg. Apparently she can overwrite Sybil's judgement, she forced the Dominator into lethal mode, so she has even higher priority than Sybil?

Just one twist after another, wonder what is next, but waiting a week will be very tough.
Episode gets a perfect 10, though it deserves more.
Urobuchi needs to write more stories.

It was so great when Akane just kicked Makishima after all that fighting. And that she didn't end up killing him.
Very good episode.

Was a bit disappointed in Kagari's death... I expected more from Urobuchi in that sense

Kagari has seen what Sybil is like, and the Dominator went into non-lethal Paralyser mode. The Chief wanted to silence all witnesses, thus she overwrote the Dominator to kill Kagari. A high crime coefficient doesn't necessarily mean execution, when a helmet guy copied Kogami's psycho pass, it also went into non-lethal mode, despite it being 288 or so.

Way to downplay her achievement. Dude, she was awesome!!!!!! As long as people like Akane continues to exist who can restrain themselves enough to do the right thing even at the height of those extreme emotion, humanity will evolve. You, sir, failed at appreciating this scene by measuring her action, so I deem you equivalent to a cold, impassioned Dominator.

For the rest of the folks, she was indeed awesome!
