Zetsuen no Tempest has really been the surprise hit of the season for me. This is a somewhat lackluster season otherwise, but this is the one show I'm always really looking forward to. It's a pity the anime isn't doing better. It's definitely a show that takes more than one episode to get into.

I know it was a comedy scene, but how stupid are Mahiro, Samon, and Jun? Shouldn't the girlfriend possibilities be remarkably limited? Samon's fruit gathering killed almost everyone in that city! If you're talking about people who were out of town at that time the list should be minimal.

Of course all set up so Hanemura the biggest fool of them all could point out the obvious. What a sad group there.

There should be some insane backlash though from Yoshino revealing the truth to Hakaze. I'm not surprised she just couldn't take it anymore and outright confessed. She couldn't find a way to stop loving Yoshino so she told him so he could figure something out.

it's funny how Hanemura is always the one to point out the obvious or what no other person dares to say.

Anyways good developments this week, now I wonder what kind of reaction will Hakaze have now.

The way Miyuki Sawashiro speaks with Hakaze is so adorable . It's like she's exhaling and talking at the same time, which really gives her a distinct voice. I'm glad that once Yoshino knew what was going on with Hakaze, he immediately was upfront about Aika, rather than blushing/feeling embarrassed and all that.

I'm looking forward to Mahiro's reaction more. I mean, both Aika and Yoshino, the two people he trusted most, didn't tell him anything. I can imagine this strengthening Mahiro's resolve to kill Yoshino, should he decide on that course of action.

How is yoshino's girlfriend obvious? Mahiro thinks that his girlfriend is alive, and that excludes Aika.

True, but did Hanemura even know or overhear anything about Aika? Maybe Hanemura thought she was still alive, esp since when Mahiro was mentioning her, from Hanemura's perspective, it could sound like she was still around.

What an exquisite episode of a magnificently strange and fearless series that was.

He knows Mahiro suspects him of being her murderer, so yes, he knows she's dead.

This was pretty obvious about ep 2, actually. But, yeah, she's a pretty nasty "pretty" piece of work.

Zetsuen no Tempest Manga's Main Story to End Next Month
we have 7 episodes left

I don't read the manga so I don't know how far the story has progressed compared to the manga

but would that mean the anime will have same conclusion/end as the manga?

I really hope that's the case though

The translation is currently at chapter 24 which is partly the last and next Episode, some things were chronologically switched a bit . Since the manga is translated way slower than the anime it will be taken over.

Though there are raws up to chapter 42 so one could hope the anime will follow the original story line.

The raw for 43 is actually out. Even the entirety of the story isn't resolved yet, that is actually a good place for the anime to stop.
Assuming 7 episode is enough to cram everything up to ch.43 in.

so the last chapter (next month chapter) is 44?

damn, so unless they managed to cram 20 chapters in 7 episodes. we will have to satisfy with probable no ending (stop at some point and God knows when we're gonna get a sequel) or original anime ending?

that's kinda disappointing

kinda looking forward to this anime each week lately, and knowing that it won't 'fully finished' is just . . .

No confirmation on whether 44 is the final chapter or not.
It really depends on whether the author has the desire to tie up all the lose ends.

It's going to be "main story line" end, with a spin-off series. Since I don't know anything about the current point where the Manga is, I really can't guess what that would mean. But I guess it'd be the resolution to the Yoshino/Mahiro/Aika storyline and all of the Shakespeare stuff.

20 chapters in 7 episode can be wrapped up pretty easily, I think
Just cut a little bit

Not really surprised by the news but I expected that they were going to take more chapters for the finale... I hope it is like FMA:B
