I'm not sure how many here already know, but I believe Ninfia/whatever its actual name is is now confirmed to be Flying-type

... which really confuses the hell out of me

The reason people are making that claim, is because Sylveon's name origin, comes from this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylph , and you can't get any more flying type than an Air Elemental.

Do not use "facts" based on fan-deductions and estabilish them as fact. As much as everything points to it being flying-type, we CANNOT under any circunstance simply say "It's flying!" until an official announcement.

Hell NO. There's no need for a new type. Dark and Steel were introduced because Psychic needed to be toned down since it was Game Breaker back then in Gen I. New types only exist in the minds of foolish fanboys.

Sylv ...hmm What type would that fit with, I mean look at the other forms names. they got SOMETHING to do with the type. Jolt - Electricity, Flare - Fire so on so forth ... So what does Sylv mean?

Also the especulation that it might be a ghost-type, because the "lives in the woods". Imagine it, you're in the woods, it's night and you see a cute little creature, it's the thing you'd least suspect.

Makes absolutely no sense, but people are comparing it Kyubey's dead fish eyes and this theory was born.

in truth we dont know what sylveons type is until its revealed but there are only 2 types that i think that it can possibly be which are fighting or flying based on its color scheme and characteristics
