Because Makishima was at least partially responsible for the death (and horrible mutilation) of Ko's police force buddy. It was a fairly important characterization/plot point... Still, I can't blame you for forgetting about it since that hasn't explicitly come up much over this episode and the last. In fact, I can't even remember the name of Ko's deceased police force buddy.

the best thing is that Gino keeps his father in his team and Yayoi teamed up with Akane (for once in the anime) and if that happens Yayoi be plenty of screens-time

If it's true, then it would be nice to see that once Kougami leaves, Yayoi will try to show her nice side to Akane (which means that she's cold-hearted outside, but is shy and a bit generous inside perhaps) while she tries to further exploit Akane's desires by attempting to rape her. I know that the show isn't about her nor about somber yuri antics, but it will be fantastic to see on how Yayoi became a lesbian in the first place.

The reason why I said that is because Yayoi have another reason of being detected as a latent criminal besides hanging out with Rina with her illegal music : the possible fact of her being a homosexual is a crime against Sibyl. Another fact is that the director will feature a future arc (before the series end) that will most probably quote some Marquis de Sade's novels, so maybe she will probably act crazy (in a sexual way) towards Akane when something bad happens in one of them.

It's not that I haven't forgotten about it(though I forgot his name too

) but it hasn't really been bought up too much.

Probaly in the last four or five episodes,since this series is starting to wind down.

Yeah.....I think she's pretty much harmless other than her love for music and whatever feelings she has/had for Rina.

She still wants Makishima captured alive. - Gino tries to remove Kougami from the Makishima investigation, but of course Kougami is not pleased with the decision. Masaoka encourages Gino to do what he feels is right. Gino decides to exchange Kougami with another enforcer from Team 2. - Kougami still investigates Makishima by himself but the chief interrupts him. - Chief orders Gino to shoot Kougami with dominator (I think it's during the enforcer exchange part), but secretly changes paralyzer mode to lethal mode. Akane feels something's off and shoots first with her dominator instead, later asks Gino if his dominator is defective. - Kougami manages to escape with Shion and Masaoka's helps and hides in Masaoka's old place. He manages to acquire a revolver there. - Kougami's PP is 265 - In the first half of the episode, Akane confirms with Kougami if he will continue to be a police officer. Kougami replies that he will. But if the law will not/can not judge Makishima, he will leave the law behind and quit being a police officer. In the end, he leaves a letter to Akane, asking her to judge him as a police officer when they meet. (That's some final episode material over there ) - Masaoka asks Kougami on his obsession with Makishima, whether it is duty as a police officer or of revenge. Kougami replies it is neither. It is just that he personally cannot allow Makishima goes free. GoldenLand Eaten by goats Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Rokkenjima	Spoiler for About the spoiler and teams: The spoiler said that Kougami was to have been exchanged with someone from another team...so presumably, there's a good chance we'll have a new character introduced to us, and that we'll get to see Kougami's new team prior to him leaving them. The woman the camera focused on briefly in ep 17 is surely going to be either the Enforcer Kougami got swapped with, or the Inspector leading the team he'll be going to. She looked pretty cool.
