Meh MGS4 Raiden is almost the same as White Raiden but younger looking.

I won't waste money on alternate skins since they add nothing to the gameplay (unless MGS4 Raiden can shoot lightnings...) For me the only good DLC is Samuel's story and possibly the talking Soul Snake Sword.

Yes, it will focus in his past and it appears it involves Bladewolf too.

Apparently, if you input the infamous Konami code, you can unlock Very Hard and Revengence mode right off the bat

How nice of them to revive such a nice little bit of nostalgia.

Passcodes are pretty much dead in games now, so this is a very cool thing to see.

I'm playing hard mood as my first time and it's pretty much DMC/NG normal mode so I would recommend those who are already familiar with the controls from playing the demo twenty times to jump right into Very Hard

As for me... I'm getting my ass handed to me by the new UGs in the second chapter... I've only just recently figured out how to reliably pull off the special moves, but doing that in combat is another story....

About 4 days for me, so I'm still pretty relaxed about getting my copy.

So for those who got the game already.
Can you still do some perv stuff like in all MGS games?
Looking at women posters etc?

Well, there are some "keep out" poster around, but I didn't look much at it XD. The game is awesome, but it's kinda too short. Probably on the same length as Vanquish.

If only aiming to complete the campaign- But I think all of us here don't just want to be able to defeat the enemies, we want to be able to do it well .

I've just defeated the Grad UG, and while it can be done- using up those two rations left a bad taste in my mouth...

Actually, this applies to all the UGs; they're seriously tricky bastards...

Well, it's hard to archive S, but I managed to archive most of my score as A. Evade is one hella important and useful move.

My personal opinion, Monsoon fight isn't hard, but it's kind dragging on, and Sundowner is just, well, annoying. It's funny that I once killed him without breaking all of his shield, lolz. His weapon is a kind that I don't think I will ever touch the 2nd time.

Still like Sam the most. His sword looks slick as hell.

What are your tips for dealing with the tougher UGs?

Hmm....did you beat Monsoon or not? After you got the Sai, it's pretty easy since after a short while it will charge up and make your target paralyze. Otherwise just keep wearing it down with weaker attack and parrying. Just don't use long combo.

I'm at Chapter 2, fighting Gorillas, Raptors, Skitters and a Grad in sewers.

The Gorillas' normal attacks I can deal with, but it's the grab that I don't have a counter for.

Raptors... Are annoying since they're three of them and they do the EMP stun thingy.

Skitters have that flamethrower attack.

The Grad... Is a tough SoB.

All I can say is keep jumping when you see their body turn yellow .

And I used cardboard box to get pass the Skitters, lolz.

I fought them when I doubled back after Boris told me there's reinforcements... I wonder what happens if you ignore those?

You have to ask yourself, do you like cutting things at lightning speed?

I believe there's a demo on the psn store that you can try out.
