That's some rumor that came out of western fandom.
They simply happen to share one of the most common Japanese family names.

And Satou Daisuke is not involved in adult works, Shouji is (under the penname INAZUMA)
In fact, Shouji jokes about INAZUMA being his brother (you know, perverted evil-twin-brother kind of way)
and I think that joke got bastardised and spread in the western fandom as brother with Daisuke.

I own many of the listed artists' early adult works on my shelf, including Oh Great stuff.

Also have some Tamaoki Benkyo, ISUTOSHI, Amadume Ryota, Inoue Kiyoshiro (Nakamura Yoshihiro), etc adult manga, before they moved to the regular mainstream manga.

My bad, I saw them with the same surname and just assumed...one should never assume! But I did D:

Anyway yea, many adult manga artists transition to mainstream and come out with incredible manga. What you did in the past doesn't really mean anything about your work in the future.
