You know, it's strange to realize now that Gido was above ArcClone, yet when you see the picture of ArcClone talking about all the fragments he's memorized, you see Gido floating above them with his lab coat on. I remember you pointed that out a long time ago, so I don't really think it's that strange to see him as a villain. I also pointed out that it was probably Gido who caused Eve to melt in the past too, considering he was alone with her in the basement while Blade was out. I guess it was his intentions and his behavior now that are the most shocking.

And what's up with ArcSaten injecting all the girls with Angel cells and causing Setsuna to cough up blood? What do they plan to do with them, send them to the gate to subdue an Angel for ArcSaten to absorb? I wonder why Gido and ArcSaten selected them instead of characters like Aruka or Strom or Hatfield or whatnot.

Also, I'm wondering how screwed Cruz is when he potentially has ANn looking over him. Mio said that there's an Angel protecting him and I'm sure the language used there is foreshadowing saying that ANn has all the fragments that the Second Christ has and is looking over Cruz. We still don't know anything about her but just looking at the few clues we've had (Cruz can see her, ArcSaten can't; Mio said an angel is protecting him), you figure something big will happen between her and Cruz once ArcClone is gone and Blade is defeated.

Yeah, Gido has lost it. He indeed recalled what he discussed with Mengroze and now is holdng in to it for dear life. He has gotten that desparate to bring Kasumi back. I can sort of relate, but still doesn't excuse his actions, especially with Eve. He literally played Blade into giving Eve dopplenganger in order to remove her right half. However, what happened the second time? That's still not answered.

This brings into question why he saved Eve during the second time? Does he plan of making her his? And that's why he was so willing to let Riru die? Why didn't he tell Riru the truth after clone Arclight found her? Why did he create a clone in the first place exactly? Was he really that busy with other stuff, and if so what was he doing? Why did Saten save Cruz from Aruka? (Come on we all know it was him. Cruz has shown he can't stop attacks at the last minute no matter his emotional state) And why was he so concerned for him in Eve's Story? Why did he hand over Set's and Solva's copses to Arclight if he was just going to get rid of him a few minutes later!? Also, why stop clone Arclight and Riru now of all times!? (It doesn't make sense! Saten doesn't do useless actions!) I hope these questions will be answered in the next few chapters, along with what Disk told Blade and Eve and how is that related.

Again, I don't think Cruz is really a stigmata holder, let alone a needless. I believe the answer is in this chapter. The girl's squad were able to be unaffected by Riru's Psycokinesis. An ability Cruz has demonstrated before. He also may have been injected with angel cells. That's part of what Disk is hiding from him maybe.

Anyway, things, most notably people, are not always what the seem (Gido!). I'm sure this will continue during this arc.

@Avvesione Begs the question why a mere missing link Needless like Mio can see her and Saten can't after we know what he's capable of doing. Unless, he was pretending not to see, but didn't want to alert attention. Also, it shows him constantly monitoring Cruz during Eve's Story. I mean Cruz just made a little startle when AnN got close and Saten was alerted immediately.

You know, I'm going to miss the mystery of Saten's identity a bit. No more wild theories to read about who/what he really is. I always enjoyed reading everyone's theories about that and if the the current pace of revelations is any sign of what we can expect for the next chapter, soon there will be a lot more we can't talk about because we'll already know the answers.

The biggest question to me right now, which I suspect will be addressed in the upcoming chapter, is the holder of the last stigmata. My own theory is Yamada will have it. Blade couldn't learn Yamada's fragment when he bumped heads with him. Saten has been looking out for Yamada's well being(so there has to be something important about him, perhaps a stigmata?) and Aruka (who had the stigmata on the right hand) gave Yamada those last cryptic words. I kinda like the idea the brother would have the stigmata for the left hand when the sister had the one for the right.

Still, I wonder if Yamada isn't changed in some way by Saten on the genetic level. A theory I have about that(I have a lot of them ) is kinda "far out there", but I'd like to talk about it now that I still can. Perhaps that won't be the case anymore when we'll get to read chapter 111. Anyway here goes.

About Mengroze.... it wasn't specifically mentioned in which place the stigmata appeared but If you look at the picture when Mengroze got his arrow burn mark it looks like his hand was touching the chest area of the patient. Now according to Saten's "roadmap" that would be the wrong place for the last stigmata to appear.

We've seen Blade, Saten, Arclight and Riru having their original stigmata appear in the wrong place too. But Aruka, Uten and Teruyama had their stigmata appear in the right place. I'm theorizing that the if you are the product of Simeon's Adam/Eve project experimentation your stigmata will not necessarily appear in the right place but when you are a "normal" Needless and have a stigmata it will appear in the correct place.

So if Mengroze's patient indeed had a stigmata which appeared somewhere on the torso, I think that person was somehow experimented on or created for the purpose of the Adam/Eve-project. If I'm right so far...(chances are low but still) that would mean Cruz is part of the Adam project. Now since it's already established Cruz looks like his sister who is 18 years old and Saten absorped the remains of the 2nd Christ 16 years ago she can't be created by Saten, but Cruz(14 years old) could be some sort of experiment using the Dna of Aruka and The 2nd Christ.

You can see if you stack assumption upon assumption, theories can get pretty crazy

Is like the author foreshadowing the *agies shield *...ok i know is not part of the story and just a cover....still is interesting that Yamada have a shield and his power is *shield of agies* another interesting thing is ,that Yamada holding a sword as well(though is hard to notice)...I wonder if this mean that his other power is something with sword in the name.

Another interesting fact is precisely the *left hand* that Aruka say to Yamada before she die and that the missing stigmata is the left hand if you think what Aruka do in the Simeon arc she cut off Yamada *Left hand* at first I did not think too much at this..I thought she cut his *left arm* only because the chip but then i thought better. she is strong enough to take the chip without cut his arm and Saten was there so the others would have had great difficulty in helping Yamada .

I put this pic because I always find interesting the way that the Author make Yamada say this to Eve and that now we have the whole *left hand of god* .

While I can see Fake AA try something desperate as it is dying I doubt that Eve will heal him or better yet can she heal him?
If you remember during the Simeon arc she told disk and the other that was thanks the thing AA/simeon had put in her that she was able to heal Yamada.(afterall that thing make her able to use her power without problem).
So yeah , I doubt we will see Eve treat fake AA even if she wants to.

At least that he not decide to merge with Yamada (or at least try) afterall he probally the only one or one of the few that know about Yamada eyes and after see his reaction during that tiime....yeah i can see him try something like that.

They kept Arclone around at least till next chapter, after revealing the that he was a clone, there was no reason why Imai couldn't have kill him right there. He must have some kind of purpose.

I can totally see this happening ,after all he probally the only one that see Yamada eyes(like I already say in my other post) also I can see him try to use Yamada some way to do something again Saten.

So .yeah ,if I was fake AA I would bet on Yamada.(as strange as it sounds).

My crackpot theory for today, which will have plenty of holes and that came to me when I was in a half-awake haze.

Mizuha. Imai Kami doesn't name drop just for the sake of it. We know she's someone closely associated with the Second Christ (maybe that disfigured little girl he healed, he is the original, after all). She also formed(?) the resistance and had access to the complete 'bible'. What if the resistance was better equipped than we've seen to date - they did have a doctor that worked with the Adam Project, however briefly, working with them after all?

Making a big assumption here, but since the Adam and Eve made for each other are highly attuned, does that mean that one can dwell within the other? Adams aim to have the power an angel has, and one had combined with the Second Christ. Maybe Cruz and Adam N. are both unauthorized A.P. spinoffs made by Mizuha and the resistance as a last ditch hedge against Simeon and the real copies. That would make Cruz part of the Eve series, perhaps formed from leftover pieces of Eve N. (which perhaps contribute to Adam N., as well?), Kasumi, the holy remains, whatever. Or perhaps he was once a normal human converted for this process precisely because he wasn't a Needless, just as Gido kickstarted it on himself. Edit: That would also put a unique spin on why Cruz's head was the 'safest hiding spot' for the chip.

The eye color perhaps could be a higher 'sync level' and is a sign that Adam N. is emerging. Even though we know Arclight is a clone, he had a pretty good run of it as a second generation copy. Who else could repel the power of an Adam except the same power, perhaps even closer to the original?

I don't have the raws handy to check that out specifically, though. Presumably then, the burn had already happened, and his hand hovering over the chest was just a coincidence. Or if it was the 'shield of Aegis' type of thing, it can be activated even without an outstretching of the hand when fully powered up, and apparently can burn people.

Fourth Wave: If you're going to be able to do anything, I guess having the power of dark matter (which in Needless canon, is responsible for spreading of the Needless virus in the first place) and dark energy on your side makes sense.

Rainmaker: No real idea, since there are so many other water fragments. Water itself is the 'universal solvent' and has a lot of useful chemical properties, though, so okay.

Magnetic World: A fundamental force. Easy enough to explain.

Bermuda Asport: I'm at a bit of a loss on this one. If you're already all powerful, what do you have to hide? Maybe a jab at God working His miracles while remaining invisible to the normals.

Ice: See, Rainmaker. I guess this could be seen as the counterpart of Agnish Wattas instead, and a representation of the concept of Absolute Zero. Maybe that's what is aimed at.

Flame: At first it didn't make much sense, since Agnish Wattas deals with molecular heat and motion. But flame itself is a result of a chemical reaction, so in that context its inclusion is more believable.

Psychokinesis: I guess this is another one like Bermuda Asport. Less about what you can do than how you can do it. Might also be related to quantum effects like entanglement, Einstein's 'spooky action at a distance'.

Gravition: See Magnetic World. Fundamental force, instantly understandable inclusion.

Agnish Wattas: See Ice. Disorder of molecular motion and phase changing of matter. Etc.

Doppelganger: You can take any form you wish. I guess that'd be pretty useful for an omnipotent being.

And for a bonus..!!

Shield of Aegis: If you're going to be messing with the fundamental laws of nature, you need backup in case something goes wrong, or you anger the natives.

Since we only have one vague picture there's little(if anything) we can say for sure, but the scanlations translation was wrong about the hand. Back when we brought it up, this is what the translator had to say:

Ah, I see. I remember thinking it was odd at the time because the panel didn't exactly fit the text, and was going to look at the raw but never got around to it. Funny how seemingly small errors can make a big difference.

Like a lot of you, I think whatever he is, Cruz is definitely going to end up being more than he appears. That seems to be the way the manga is trending, anyway. He's had too many high-level people involved in his life, including all of the major Adam series products, and even Arclight seeming to be concerned with him, for it to all have been a coincidence. Ever since early in, when I started following the manga in the early 50s, I've thought it was a bit funny how - when you think about it - Cruz is possibly the character we know least about his history. It's as though something important was missing all along, and it is an odd omission for the character we see most of the story following. When he saw Adam N., he was startled at first, but then almost seemed to recognize her, as though this wasn't the first time, as well. The next few chapters are going to be interesting.

Though I will also agree with some other sentiments. The info dumps and tied loose ends are nice, but more action soon, please!
