I think Urara's capture is just postphoned and she either harbours Demeter or she is some sort of catalyst for the final endgame.

I didn't say the lack of a romance ending is a bad thing. Actually I'm very welcoming of this result as it's the first time a weiss was exorcized without Keima having to make the target girl fall for him. Variety is always better than repetitiveness.

And I think it's possible two 7 year-old children could actually fall in love if the conditions are right. It's probably not very common though since that's usually the age where the opposite sex is considered repulsive.

On the contrary, I don't believe it was the first time he used a different method to capture the weiss. He employed a similar method with Haqua, using Elsie to fill the gap, her falling for him is just a after effect of how awesome he is.

In all honesty he makes his capture targets fall for him by curing their insecurities so I wouldn't exactly say he fills them with enough love.

IMO the Kanon spinoff was dumb, I expected a better. Supposedly Kanon knows about Elsie, hat happened to the goddess inside her (wasn't she strong enough to grow wings already)? There is no explanation whatsoever why the other goddesses aren't lending a hand. Twenty years ago this might have been ok, nowadays with the likes of Madoka and the reboot of Sailor Moon, this hasn't a chance to survive.

Interesting differentiation of Weiss (Runaway spirit) and Stray spirits.

Weiss are explicitly Devil souls while Strays are evil human souls.

Which brings to question Elsee's original explanation for Runaway spirits. Runaway spirits were souls of dead people seeking to reincarnate themselves in the children of women though their gaps of the heart.

We never see this happen. As Weiss take over their host bodies.

The closest would be Urara and her mom. But the Weiss only took over Urara after it got out of the grave.

I don't know did Elsee get mixed up learning stuff in class?
