Whoever is drawing these needs to be a little more consistent with the insignias.

Not just Morosawa (the head writer, BTW), there are other writers behind Seed and GSD.

Much like how the Wing spinoff mangas (except Ground Zero) were written by Wing's writing staff; Katsuyuki Sumizawa, Wing's head writer, wrote Episode Zero.

I know but it's common crediting the main writer. What's with this redundancy?

I'm guessing that at this point, Morosawa recovered from her hysterectomy she underwent in 2008.

Sorry, after the horrible display she put up with Destiny i'd rather have roadkill write the script than her, she is a horrible writer that favorites characters too much.

did she really undergo that though? from what i read the cancer rumors are only hear-say and she was actually burnt out (and jelous) during Destiny's recording, She never had cancer

According to the her Japanese Wikipedia article (sourced from her 2008 Animage interview), she mentioned that she had uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts, and underwent a hysterectomy, which are the reasons why the Seed movie is on indefinite hold. It's not the "brain cancer" that /m/ likes to spew a lot.

Then again, this is Wikipedia, so take it for what you will.

Hmmm, yeah, well, something happened to her, be it a hysterectomy, being burnt out/jelous or cancer. We can agree on that. Doesn't change the fact that she was a horrible writer.

Or it's because Kira, Athrun, Lacus, and Cagalli were extremely over with Japanese viewers (according to the then-current Newtype polls), and that Sunrise/Bandai/Fukuda/Morosawa allowed the fanbase (especially the Kira/Lacus fanbase) to influence the direction of the show?

Shinn, meanwhile, was popular on his own right, but not as high as Athrun and especially Kira.

There was a surprising amount of new footage in this, the main notable things to watch out for are the awakening of the Extendeds Gundams which got new footage, as well as a bit of the combat involving them getting new footage. Unless my eyes are tricking me Athrun boarding the Zaku was mostly redone as well, as was a bit of action when it fought Gaia.

Honestly if they keep this up Destiny may go from a five out of ten to a solid seven. My main complain about this has always been the stock footage.

Destiny has always been decent, but this may make it pretty good for me. Of course, nothing tops Seed
