Guide: Creating High Quality Anime DVDs with Menus

I have a method for creating high quality anime DVDs with menus. I am going on vacation for two and a half weeks, but if anyone would me to write the guide when I get back I will.

It does account for overscan and is easier to work with than Queue for Encoding in my opinion.

Today I created a 12 episode DVD with an episode menu.

I don't see a reason why you need to post this right now. You can leave a guide while you are on your vacation or you should have post this when you get home. As far as I can see this thread is a waste.

The point of this thread is to ask if anyone is interested in this guide. It's pretty clear.

If no one is interested, then I'm not going to write the guide. I plan on putting a lot of effort into this guide even if it's just for one person.

Peace from Beijing.

Yes Please!

I've been to a number of forums and sites trying to find some input on how to put together a good menu for an anime dvd.

I've made some myself, but the menu is somewhat limited to 4-6 titles per page and there just isn't enough flexibility.

Personally, I use convertxtodvd3 to make my anime dvds, and they work great when played on the dvd player. It's just that the menus aren't what I really want.

I've seen the menus on [pirated] anime dvds sold in the sidewalks, and I was wondering if you know how to make it like that? What program and steps to take, then?

Thanks~

I'm back from China!

The guide uses AlltoAvi, DIKO, and DVDstyler. These programs may be easy to use, but I will cover the subtle nuances that can be the difference between three or four bad discs and perfect on the first try.

My guide will cover creating a single menu screen with up to 15 episode buttons.

I have created menus with video previews and the like using Sony DVD Architecht, but because Architect's built-in encoder is poor and because it is not free, this guide with not cover that method.

So last call, is anyone interested?

OregonTrail has been working on that guide for over three years and he/she/it/they has yet to write down a single word. Just use google to search for good guide and I'm sure you will find a few good ones.
