This is great fun, and I like this show. And Sono-chan was the most badass VIP ever.

I'm just glad she joined at the end before having a heart attack . Those were some loud heartbeats.

Overall having fun with the first couple of episodes. One or two voices sound a bit weird to me, but it still seems like a solid series.

It's all the great signs that made Girls und Panzer so fantastic.

-Not taking itself too seriously
-Attention to detail (tanks, gunplay, as long as they're passionate about it)
-I'm invested in what's happening no matter how silly it is

Looking forward to this.

Rento's voice is cracking me up for some reason. It just sounds so dopey and dribbles with facetiousness.

So I came into this one totally blind, without reading the plot or anything. The gun under the pillar was like... O.o!? then the guns in the opening haha. When I found it was just airsoft I was very pleased. Surprise show of the season for me

One with the brown long hair. Her voice is really annoying.
It's a problem I faced when I was watching GJ-bu.

I rather enjoy this cast... though I seem to have developed a Miyuki Sawashiro detector somewhere along the way in the past few years.

The scenarios are fairly standard, from the juggernaut game mode in the first episode to VIP escort in the second. Pile on the goofy moe spin on it like the huge yellow dress and it should be is totally ridiculous, but... it still works somehow.

Which leaves the question of how it'll go once the plot kicks in.

I wasn't even planning on having a plot kick in

Also as a reminder to those comparing with the manga, the mangaka actually is a gainax employee so he likely has a big say on what the anime is doing.

Well the OP shows a bunch of other teams, so presumably there will be some playing that doesn't just involve small battles within the club. Whether that will qualify as a plot or not is up for debate.

Are they selling those Guns?
(edit: I see, seems to be some sort of event prizes)

Tho I don't think you can own those in the US (well, at least not near any sort of school... even mentioning about playing with toy guns near school or say it will get you arrested)
*see da LoL dude get arrested for 3 month for saying a joke on Facebook, only to be bail by Rift (LoL company) for 50,000 USD)*

I want to try airsoft >_< it looks pretty fun.

All I got is rubberband gun that I made out of chopsticks, LOL.

This show is a lot of fun, the president is giving me Kamina vibes for some reason, maybe it's the blue hair, if only her visor was the same color as his.

Affirmative! Actually, not for a few years, but man the first ep made me want to go play again.

Too bad the animation in the second episode was so spotty because I really like the tone and general treatment. If anything it's more appealing than the slightly surreal Girls und Panzer, but the execution quality both animation and writing wise sadly doesn't hold a candle. Oh well I'll stick it out for a bit see how it develops.

Somebody was talking about training with airsoft for real firearms? When I lived in the city and only made it to the shooting range about once a month (or two even), I set up a small collapsible range in the hallway of my railroad apartment. I got the Tokyo Mauri Desert Eagle to maximize the weight (so it'd start to come close to the weight a real pistol) and would shoot about fifty airsoft rounds every couple nights. Now I didn't do any A/B comparisons, but I'm sure it helped maintain some semblance of form.

Hmmm... come to think of it maybe I should dig that up again for the evenings. Now that I've got kids I seem to have little time to go to the range again...
