Here's Chapter 15 of To Ascend for you people.

Admittedly, this chapter feels rather lackluster in both length (around 4k) and quality (the last segment of the chapter, mostly), considering I didn't really have much creativity this week...

^Glad to hear it, I want more of that story.

I just finished my Halloween story. It's 15k words. Easily the longest chapter I've ever written. I can't even break it up since there are no natural breaking points.

Now I just need to think of a title and proofread it before Halloween.

That was kind of nice, truthfully. Would've preferred some more shiptease between Touma and the Amakusa girls, but it was good.

Just a heads up, you start calling Misaki Misaka during her and Touma's second scene, when the Employee's attack the pair.

And I'm pretty sure you've made a mistake with the whole Mana-spell-death thing... but I'll finish the fic before getting into that.

Keep in mind it's not supposed to be an immediate thing. Eventually, some esper will cast some sort of magic and it will kill them. That's what he wants. He isn't intending to kill all of them like that.

He also had plans to make a couple of them cast spells but he was already monologue-ing enough so I left that out.

Really awkward what if...

kakine's dark matter network split his consciousness into multiple fragments right? There is a psychological theory that every person has a female and male thought patterns. If you are male then your male thought patterns are dominant but you still have female thought patterns, and if you are female you still have female thought patterns. So since Kakine dark matter is spread so thin... what if the female thought patterns of Kakine turned into an individual unit? Then runs into Kami-yan?

You just found a viable way to pair Female Kakine to Touma without actually genderbending the original.

Hmm...

There's also the possibility that the female unit is what's left instead of Beetle 05 after the chaotic events of NT 6.
