Big Boss with the slicked-back hair and pony tail is really starting to resemble his older self.

The exclusive PS4 content is intriguing. David Hayter in some shape or form would be funny .

In a Japanese interview with Dengeki PlayStation, Kojima talked a bit about MGSV:

Kojima said some parts of The Phantom Pain are already 100% complete. Other parts however still need a lot of work.

Implementation of smartphones: You will be able to view scores, radar, maps and other stuff on those devices.

Kojima emphasized again that the "S" in Ground Zeroes was intentional, because the events won't only affect Big Boss, but other characters as well, the most obvious being Kaz.

There was also another interview with Famitsu, the main points of it being:

He emphasized that The Phantom Pain will still take some time to develop, since it's a huge game.

He also mentioned that a lot of people were under the wrong impression that The Phantom Pain's development was near completion, and that the game will come out very soon. One of the reasons why they decided to release Ground Zeroes separately is that Kojima has been receiving a lot of requests to hurry up with the game's development, both from the fans and some of the higher-ups.

He said that we can expect The Phantom Pain to release when a lot of people have their PS4s (the interview was done during the PS4 launch event a couple of weeks ago). That's a very vague window, but it's safe to assume that it'll be Q3-Q4 2014 at the earliest.

This DLC content for Xbox 360/ONE Exclusive 'Jamais Vu' Mission.

We get to play a Metal Gear character who's game came out early this year.
I'll give you a hint it has something to do with watermelons, and no it not Gallagher.

Spoiler for Take a guess:

Edit: God Damn it, you beat me to it.

Thats ok.
I just wanted to use the Gallagher joke, for the guess who.

Anyway may as well post this Metal Gear Solid V Q&A with Hideo Kojima, from Xbox Wire.

So now we can be certain that Kojima smoked a shit-ton of weed when he made MGS 2.

No wonder both are thin. lol But seriously he's gotta be kidding here, if not I got no words to say to him.

In another hand if Kojima said that the cutscenes will depend on the player on MGSV Phantom Pain, it means it's like Dragon's Dogma, miss one area you will get one cutscene but will not get another if you do this other stuff.

Also about Keifer, I'm now guessing sure that why he was the one choosen because of the facial expression, since if it's David Hayter and he's having problems with Snake's voice in MGS Peace Walker, I think Kojima thinks even though David Hayter is an actor cannot provide a good expression when he's making the Solid Snake/Young/Prime BigBoss. It will hard to retake if there are emotional scenes and David is having problems voicing Snake since it's all mocap.

One thing though I cannot deny, David Hayter's looks are just like BigBoss and Solid Snake.

At this point I'm just praying for a PC release, like what happened with Rising.

^ From what I've been hearing, the MAIN STORY of Ground Zeroes is about 3-4 hours long.... it really depends on how you play MGS game...

Personally, if it's the main story that's 3-4 hours, then I'd be more than satisfied with the purchase.... hell, honestly if the whole thing was 3-4 hours long.... I'd still get my money's worth with it replaying it over and over...

In all fairness, Skyrim's main story can be completed in 2 hours - three hours tops.

In my current playthrough, I have over 60 hours of gameplay and have barely touched the main story.

Well from what I understand it's that GameInformer was given 4 hours to play the game and they completed the main story in 2 hours.

Did they skip the cutscenes?

Unknown to be honest- We don't know how they played it, just that they did it.

It sounds about right though.

Based on all the story teasers so far, it can be judged that the following are what happens with MGSV.

1. Game starts with Big Boss infiltrating the large base to rescue Chico. ( Paz is nearby as well )
2. XOF & Skullface go off in their camouflaged helicopter. ( presumably to Mother Base)
3. BB saves Chico & Paz.
4. XOF wrecks Mother Base.
5. BB/Kaz/etc escapes Mother Base.
6. Something happened, ( but not resulting in BB's capture ) leading to coma.

At best, GZ covers 1-6. Heck, there's even the possibility that it'll only be 1-3.

Best case scenario, we're looking at 2 missions, which will be Rescue & Escape. And I wouldn't be surprised if Escape was all cinematics and no mission at all.

2 hours sound about right.

GZ was always nothing more than an extremely expensive paid-demo. :/
