Yeah, the side-characters and their background stories in X are decent too.

And don't forget that Freedom Gundam's design is actually inspired by Gundam Double X. Also, Raw le Klueze being a lab-rat/clone and his motive to "destroy everything" in SEED is also inspired by certain antagonists from X (don't wanna spoil).

Oh, and Enil El is hot .

Yeah, Gundam X is certainly one of my favorite series.
08th Team is good, though the novel version ended in similar way but it was more gruesome.

Yeah, it came out after the OVA. 3 volumes was released.
Spoiler for kiki:

The novel explains that the grave you see at the end of the OVA belongs to Shiro's leg lol. But yeah, you get a different impression of the series so its pretty good to read. You can still buy it in honto.

fav gundam series

Seed is the first one, but after seen Gundam 00, that is the best series ever!
Plus, the tech is much more advance than any other gundam series

The point you raised made me re-look at the Gundam universe as a whole, and believe it or not, I think the Vagans from Gundam AGE may actually be the most technologically advanced side in the Gundam-verse.

Technically though, it was the EXA-DB or Colony Nation Wars-era technology that was the most advanced but I'll never how just exactly how advanced.

Then again, it could also be that the reason why they appear so powerful was because the EFF were practically useless, relying on AGE-1 to do most of the work

00 and SEED got a tie in my part

00 has better storytelling, but I dislike the blatant super robot elements, more so than usual gundam stuff anyway.

I am someone that usually as rule, likes to watch things in order from worst to best, leaving the best for last. I am nearing the end of Turn A Gundam, and after reading the last few posts above, can't decide what to watch next between:

Gundam Wing
G Gundam
Gundam Seed
Gundam 00
Gundam Unicorn

Those are the last five shows on my to watch list, want to watch them from worst to best. What order would you guys recommend? I want the last one on that list to leave me breathless

For the record, with only 4 more episodes left of TAG, I have to say I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Gundam 00 because of it originally of used of the GN particle technology/GN drive and also in turn of Gundam design. I liked Gundam Age until Kio become even more of a Jesus than Jesus Yamato.

Gundam G fighter, I remember watching it when I was younger. At the time I didn't know what Gundam was, but during the battle scenes between Domon and Master Asia, it was really exiting to watch.

from worst to best...
exclude unicorn... better watch it after the movie finish airing, ah and its most overrated after seed i think~

G > 00 + Seed > Wing
cant decide which is better 00 or seed, both not bad and not really good, both gundam design so fanservice and looks cool, 00 graphic of course better but i dont really like 00 cast, full of emo dude. 00=emo main cast. seed=immature children main cast

Well I went with SEED and I'm 9 episodes in. Liking it quite a bit so far. The animation, art illustration, colors and overall IQ are pretty darn good for a TV show and at 720p, the show looks gorgeous on my pj screen. Seems like there's a lot of room left for character development, particularly for Kira and Asthul or whatever his name is.

G Gundam sure is one of my favourites. It has the most manliest fight in the whole Gundam franchise.
All the men would cry watching Domon vs Master in the Gundam Fight Finals.

I never really saw what people hate so much about G Gundam. IMO, it had much better character/plot development than Wing, SEED, SEED Destiny, and 00 combined. It was only the first time the Gundam franchise branched off into the AU era from the UC era, so it's pretty clear they wanted to have some over-the-top fun to break away from the usually-"realistic" and serious UC era, but they still managed to keep a bit of philosophy involved, like Domon's training to achieve the Hyper Mode over the Super Mode using serenity over anger, or Master Asia's anger over the harm to the Earth and his actual good intentions for using the Devil Gundam, even if a bit misguided until the end.

And as quirky as some of the MF designs were, they weren't bad either, and the various fighters generally having a pretty unique fighting style was cool.

And come on...a Mobile Fighter HORSE actually "piloted" BY THE HORSE. How can one NOT think that is AWESOME? lol
