Seems an anime is all but confirmed for the upcoming announcement. A domain listing appeared today for a company that did many other animes.

Yes finally an anime. That is one great news. Do you think it will be the next big thing like Shingeki no Kyoujin since they both contain many deaths.

anime huh,

it possible that they end it with church arc. but chance are we going to have higly compressed anime with original content in second half.

probably stay faithful until tatsume kidnapping then diverge after than

or we have completely original content like prequel or side story

I can see this one being major though if they adapt it right.

Ahhh, yes. Another one of those popular mangas are finally gonna get animated. Hope this isn't gonna be another SnK. Or Elfen Lied if they step up the gore.

Hai, I heard about that anime announcement which might be coming soon, so I picked the manga back up from where I left.
R.I.P Suu and that Teigu user who lasted a few panels. I'm also glad Mein, pumpkin and Raba aren't dead yet.

Oh yeah, R.I.P Wave's dignity.

Was anyone a little lost here at first? Because I Akame and co should have already killed human targets before, but here we got a flashback within flashback with almost no warning.

Anyway, I wasn't surprised that when they were assigned specific targets for the first mission Martha would be among those targets. It just sounds like the kind of trial teachers in this trade might setup.

The history behind Shingu is pretty interesting because I have wondered at one point why didn't Empire attempt to make similar weapons to Teigu? Well turns out they did! Seems they kinda of like laughing stocks of real thing though.

I wonder if these things will come up in the main story at one point....

Probably depends on how many Shingu there are.

Aren't Stylish's inventions somehow similar to Shingu? Since they were also meant to be equal to the Teigu but weren't quite there yet.

Good point. But I think Stylish's stuff were closer to monsters rather than Shingu. The later are weapons with heavily specialized abilities, tried to imitate Teigu while Stliyish's creations were just modified humans.

Pretty interesting indeed, it's almost as if each one of them were only capable of covering one single aspect of the Teigu (while still being weaker).

Thanks!

I can't quite if that's the anime design or manga's. Which bides well for the adaptation in terms of art at least.
