AVI to VCD...??? HELP!

As the name says I need help on learning how to make avi files to vcd. I read through a guide or 2 but I have no idea where to get the programs they were using or anything like that. So if possible could someone write a guide on here for dummies?

download nero and their is a option to make vcd's and svcds, you'll have to download a special dll to make svds's though. I reccommend using the nero express display.Anyway choose the vcd option, and then select the avi files that you want. Make sure that you already have a blank Cd in your computer, now go ahead and select the avi files that you convert to vcd and then everything else is self explanitory, Nero will now convert and burn your files. Have fun.

Well if you are going from mpeg4 avi to svcd you need to use a program TEMPEng to rencode the files.
