Taking the chance of posting here, hoping that someone else still play this game!

I'm on US and would love more friends to play with (since basically all my old D3 friends left the in 201 2 and early 2013). Had a long break but I recently started playing again. Trying to level up a few more characters to play with on the new expansion. Unfortunately I'm in a terrible timezone to be playing on US servers, so hopefully I can still find someone awake during the night, lol. The Asian servers were quite dead once the game came out, so I went ahead with US so I could play with my overseas friends.

Hopefully the new "Paladin" replacement along with a few other things (that honestly could've been patched into the main game, but that's a whole different complai-- story) will tempt more people into playing so finding a decent party won't be that hard.

Yes it is. I've seen the update patch on the launcher. Around 14.5GB if my mind serves me right.

Still waiting for the PS4 one, though.

Those who preordered RoS can now already claim their Wings of Valor. The new button in the lower left lets you claim them. You can get one per character.

Got RoS, finished Act V already and now I've moved on to Adventure Mode.

Story is still bad, though I liked the addition of the personal quests for the followers (and for Shen).

Started the Crusader class and she's at 42 now, it's fairly similiar to the D2 paladin but with more martial abilities and lack offensive aura. Also for a tanky str type class, she can be pretty mobile with a number of mobility ability unlike the old D2 paladin. My favourite so far is Falling Sword which reminds me of FF's dragoon style Jump ability where you jump skyward off screen and fall upon your target doing AoE dmg. I got mine currently setup as a tank mage with a ranged generator and a lot of nukes. Surprisingly crusader got a lot of cool down based abilities so i'm building my gear around CD reduction to capitalize.

Also they get to wield a 2hander + shield using a trait that penalize movement speed by 15% which is a pretty decent trade off considering the the level 70 2h is a lot more powerful compare to those at lvl 60.

Got RoS yesterday I'm playing now and already finished act V. I'm worried 'cuz my friends told me the game is rather short.

If you're playing for the story alone, then all Diablo games are short. Otherwise prepare to pour about 100 hours into it.

It's an expansion pack, it's supposed to add to the overall game, not act as a separate game entirely. Don't expect it to be long on its own, play it together with the rest of the game.

RoS was pretty good I thought, finished Act 5 and all that tried some Adventure Mode, pretty fun. However, 2 things. First, holy shit the jump in difficulty in going from Act 4 Torment to Act 5 Torment was insane - the sheer HP pools, my god. Secondly, Leah, did I miss something? Because I remember Blizzard specifically saying we'd get closure on Leahs Soul and her fate. Yet outside certain events with the Black Soulstone and Maltheal (which with inference, you can make an assumption about Leah and Diablo) there was absolutely nothing on it.

Side note when I was playing Act 4 recently, I had my headset on and I noticed something. When Diablo was speaking you could hear Leah screaming in agony behind all the reverb of his voice.

Yeah, I agree that RoS was pretty good. As a whole I enjoyed Act 5. It had good length and did have some entertaining battles along the way. A better tone as a whole to the whole act really.

With Leah, I didn't expect anything really to happen here. I presumed Blizzard meant we'd have a chance to do something about Leah eventually. And by eventually they meant the expansion after this one, since no doubt that's going to happen.

It's nice to get a melee tank type character that doesn't suffer the barbarian's weakness of generally going into fights with an empty mana pool. Also has an interesting mix of pure melee with mid-to-long range attacks.

I'm still working my crusader up through the first four acts, but I'll see how act five is when I get there. I am a bit disappointed that there was only a single new character class in this expansion. Surely they aren't all out of ideas?

As I said earlier, the main suspicion is that they intend to have a second expansion, so only release one character for now.
