I need help finding...

Lately I haven't seen many shows with like young, male protagonist (like ages 13-18). Whatever happened to them, I mean, apart from Naruto and Fullmetal their are very few that I have actually seen now. Are they disappearing? I'm pretty sure they aren't, so where are they! Please recommend some for me, or at least tell me if there is going to be a new ones coming out soon.

....I can't name many anime with a male protagonist that isn't in that age range.

I'll list some recent ones just cuz I'm bored:
Fate/stay night
Shakugan no Shana
Black Cat
Bleach
Shuffle!
Rozen Maiden
Eureka Seven
Lamune

Just the few that come to mind...

you can't really say the main character of rozen maiden is around that age. Last time I checked the doll was pretty old. Of course you are talking about the guy but is he the main attractio.

The guy is the main character... What is 'attractio'? I can't find that word in two different online dictionaries nor a definition for it on google. I assume then it's a misspelling or something...

When you said Fullmetal, I'm not sure if you meant Alchemist or Panic so I'll suggest both Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Alchemist. Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins also has a male protagonist in the age range.

I guess he meant "attraction"?

Jun IS really the main character of Rozen Maiden. However, Traumend really doesn't define such a wide line because you're already familiar with the other characters, and there isn't really a way to say who's the leading character there.

BLASPHEMY!

Suiseiseki is the main character of Rozen Maiden!

Chibi ningen!

EDIT: Also, I believe he was trying to say "likeable" young male protagonists. Though Rozen Maiden still fits that bill.

Hahah, Yeah, I actually meant young, male protagonist. What I mean is kids around the age of the protagonist of Infinite Ryvius (which I saw and loved btw), and I saw Last Exile, and such..., but i'm talking about recent anime's like 2004 and beyong not 1999 and before....

BTW, I thought "Beyond the clouds, a place promised in our early days" was one of the worst movies i've ever. XD Anyways, thanks for recommending me a few.

I also saw:

Fantastic Children
FMA
Girl Bravo
Fafner

and a couple others.

Lol, I just watch to many anime's will hot female protagonist that I wanted to see a few shounen/mecha anime's. I was happy to find NTHT, which was just awesome. However, as far as new ones, I haven't been able to find any real good ones made recently =/

Well if you just meant young, male lead protagonists, I'd go with Bleach, Shakugan no Shana, and Rozen Maiden (particularly the first season).

I know there's a bunch of other ones, but I'm having to ditch the harems, though I guess you liked Girls Bravo, so you can throw Futakoi Alt in there as well.

Well most of my recommended ones are after 1999

anyways how about

eramentar garad
Lunar legend
Gilgamesh(well both brother and sister are main, brother a little more focused on brother who is 14)
Gungrave-starts off as 17 year olds atleast, then grows up
Banner of the stars
Shakugan no shana
fate/stay night
peace maker
tsubasa chronicles, including a new season coming out next month.

how about these?

I was really thinking about buying "banner of the stars" but I don't know yet. I also am gonna check out "Shakugan no shana", and I might see if "Tsubasa Chronicle" is any better then the first one.

Gilgamesh sounds and interesting, and perhaps lunar legend. Thanks a whole lot!
