I'm so incredibly happy that Lacus didn't make it past he rfirst match-up.

It shows rthat anime fans still have brains and aren't mindlessly cute-addicted. Of course, Lacus doesn't really have cuteness in the first place.

I voted for Shana. I would vote for Shana over Chidori as well.

If i remember correctly.. that was talked about back when he was in the anime.

I think all he said was that collecting power of existence for one huge unrestricted spell was his purpose of life or something like that.

Watch the anime, it's explained.

And how do you kill something that's not alive?

As the name suggests, he's a corpse retriever, he takes the existance of torches that are about to burn out.

How far do the anime differ from the a) novels b)manga ?

For a) is the difference big enough to eliminate any hopes of a second season based on the novels?

Good ending to an above average series. But aww my poor hecate! (sounding like some tomogara). I was like hoping that Yuuji dies for some melodrama (and certainty of second season), but i still liked the ending.

I rather hope for a second season than a movie...

And I think I may go for belldandy rather than shana. Goddess wins flame haze.

Point taken. They a rather wide myriad of scanlation projects. Problem is whether the dudes there can handle another one when they already have so many ongoing.
