It's like Touma fighting Saints all over again You're better off giving Touma allies that can tank Saint-like foes and have IB be the attack/item that deals the final blow. Kamachi did say part of the appeal of Touma is that he can feasibly take down a Magic God but would get slaughtered by a normal person group of random thugs.

If he's using IB than yeah but I'd imagine IT/ and dragon would affect normals in mass. So I can't really even trust Kamachi on this front.

I was hoping to make someone a Campione in Touma's stead. Nothing says up yours to the campione mythos than by directly violating one rule by having a Campione serve a none campione.

Unfortunately I was hoping someone from Campione. The people from to TAMNI-verse might make cameos but I'm not sure since this is supposed to be a world separate from TAMNIverse.

This only works under the speculation that IT isnt like fiammas third arm (fog-like, cant affect the physical world without their respective powers), which is indeed the case until now, dragon only worked as mirage-like bigger IB, but if it is a fanfic than why not?

I think it can on some level. If not Othinus wouldn't have bothered blocking.

Personally, if I was doing a Campione/ToAru crossover, I'd put Kanzaki in there. She'd shine in Campione because she'd be able to show her stuff without being so far above the existing protags as she is in Index. In her own canon, Kanzaki roughly has the same problem that Misaka had in the early parts of Railgun; she either stomps the enemy in seconds or gets trotted out against divine enemies who can cause extinction events. Keep in mind, however, that putting her in a story like Campione would not lend well to the typical shounen "Level 1 hero fights against Level 100 enemy" scenario. It'd be a clash of titans.

As for the issue of "Imagine Breaker", that was one of the issues why I didn't put Touma in a starring role in my Index/Madoka crossover. (Issue 2 was that "Touma in Madokaverse" had been done at least three times already by the Japanese, while Issue 3 was that my story had a decided action/original flavor bent and I didn't really want to trade back-and-forth flame wars with fans who didn't want a male hero anywhere near their ambiguously lesbian magical girls.)

With that having been said, Imagine Breaker itself will very likely have some effect on the story. Just not in the most immediately obvious manner...

Actually, yeah, sort of. There was this one manga where a failing mangaka got sucked into his own bog-standard chuuni shounen manga. He then decided that the only way out was to end the manga on a dramatic note by killing off the heroine, so he kept coming up with these ways to try killing her while traveling with the main party. Sounds dark, yeah, but it was comedy. I don't remember offhand what the manga was called.

but i mean if soemthing like that was ever used for a toaru fanfic...

imagine the hilarious scene where kamachi meets touma/accel/mikoto and find out about the horrible way of theri personality's...
it sounds awesome/funny/interesting/epic if it is in fiction but...
kamachi will experience how it is to live in a world where the carachters arent really humans...

Typically when one goes about their everyday routines, the individual in question is barely aware of it until mid-process. This is especially true during morning endeavors, as the mind is far too groggy to truly grasp everything they are doing at least until after the first cup of coffee. It’s not unnatural to see someone shuffling through a household with a dazed look on their features yet somehow finding themselves in certain places at certain times.

It was like clockwork, the feet move on their own, and by the time awareness settles in half of their tasks are particularly done.

That pattern doesn't remain the same mid-day or in the evenings all too often, but that largely depended on the individual and what they are used to doing.

For Kamijou Touma on his day off from school, the tradition of sleeping in was always good up until Index started demanding for food. In which case, he would get out of bed (on his case the bathtub) cook breakfast, eat, then go on to take a shower before heading out to with the freeloading nun in search of something to do. All of those things played out as normal, nothing changed during the first portion of this normal routine.

At least, nothing of the sort was different until after Touma hand finished his shower.

“Hm?” In this particular moment, Kamijou was holding a bottle, squeezing and shaking the object and yet only the poorest portion of substance was released from its confines. It was through this, that the normal cycle of events that played out for Touma changed. “…no good, huh? Well, guess I’ll have to make a trip to the store.”

Despite the small hick-up in his routine, Touma remained largely indifferent about the minor inconvenience and casually strolled out of the bathroom without much care. Upon entering the actual living area, he found the short nun sitting far too close to his television watching her usual magic girl anime that came on around this time. This wasn't all too odd of a sight really, it was routine just like his own, so he didn’t bother telling her to back up. She had a perfect memory, but for some reason she always seemed to forget the things he tells her; especially if they are something as trivial as maintaining a good distance from a television screen.

He guessed she just got that absorbed into those shows to really care about how close she was to it.

“Oi, Index, I’m running up to the store real quick so keep an eye on things here until I get back.”

Said nun didn’t even turn away from the screen to respond.

“…I-I guess I’ll leave you to it then.”

And so, after grabbing his wallet and keys, Touma moved towards the door whilst slipping on his shoes. The creak of the door was what finally caused Index to finally realize what Touma had said and thus turned just in time to see his back.

“Ah, Tou-”

She never got to finish as the door closed behind the lad. But something was different about this situation, something Index currently couldn’t place her finger on. That had been what caused her to pause long enough for the teen to leave without first hearing what she had to say.

“Touma…” Glancing down at the meowing kitten curled up in her lap, the small nun scooped up the feline and addressed the question that was dominant on her mind in that very moment. “…he looks different today.”

Let it be known that this was not the first time that Touma had been forced to make an unexpected trip to the store on a weekend. It most certainly wasn’t the first time and it most definitely wouldn’t be the last time either. In fact, these trips were happening all too frequently for his and his wallets liking; thanks to the large apatite of a certain nun back in his dorm. So, in a way, this particular act wasn’t too far off from being routine itself; not as common as his usual morning rituals but common enough to somewhat be classified as a routine procedure.

But something about today was most certainly different that most other days. It most certainly wasn’t the hushed murmurings of the opposite sex that passed him. It definitely had nothing to do with the fact that both men and women were staring at him with emotions ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other. No, it had nothing to do with those things at all. He was not used to them, fact he was quite ignorant of them half the time so even if this was part of the norm he wouldn’t have known.

The thing that was different was the fact that something was constantly obscuring his vision.

“Geez, I forgot how annoying this is.” Mumbled the teen as he strolled onward, oblivious to the world around him, while his expression displayed clear signs of mild irritation. “I mean, seriously, I didn’t think my hair had grown this long. The bangs alone are blocking so much I can barely see where I’m going.”

So, as any normal person encountering the same issue themselves, Touma did exactly as expected and brushed the said bangs to the side.

HU-HA!!! Hu-Ha!! Hu-Ha!

“…where did that come from?”

Needless to say, the sudden noise spooked him and made him momentarily pause to observe his surroundings in search of the noise’s source. In doing so, he found not the source but something a little more…let’s say disturbing at least for him. The people around him–mainly the females–had all spontaneously stopped everything in which they were doing and openly gawking in the area which he was located. Still curious and slightly concerned, he checked over each shoulder in hopes that whatever was causing these people to do this was behind him.

He found nothing, he was alone standing there, and that implied that all of these people (women) were gawking at him.

And with unparalleled synchronization, said individuals whipped out their phones; with a chorus of snapshot sound-effects soon following after.

“Kyaa!”

“Oh my god is this real?”

“I gotta send this to Mayuki; she’ll be so jealous!”

“Excuse me sir, but can I have your number?!”

“U-u-um…” Overwhelmed could not even describe how awkward Touma felt in that very moment. He was practically put on the spot with all these reactions, though he had to admit he wasn’t all too against the jeers and cat-calls he was getting.

“Fucking bastard.”

“I’ma kill him, I swear I’m gonna kill him.”

“Why are all these girl’s going nuts over some stupid pretty-boy anyway?”

“He won’t look so pretty by the time I’m done with him.”

Of course, it was easy to forget that there were also males amongst the cluster of people. That was especially true when most of the female populous had gartered one’s attention. But, even so, Touma was still able to hear some of those words of envy and wrath. Call it a gut feeling if nothing else, and if there was one thing Kamijou was familiar with it was being the target of those two emotions when it came to males.

He had to thank his classmates for subjecting him to that, because it certainly help him distinguish it here.

“Crap!”

And so, having already seen the signs of impending doom, Touma found the nearest and most open gap in the mass of people and rushed straight through it as fast as he could. The snap-shot sound effects didn’t relent either, fact the cat-calls only increased as he ran for some reason. This, however, only further fueled the male ratio’s rage and thus erected several–more vocal– outcries from them; some of which going as far as pursuing after him.

These weren’t delinquents mind you, just males who were pissed off and desired to take their petty issues/insecurities out on him.

What was the worst part out of all this?

Simple: He was running away from the store in which he was trying to reach.

“Fukou-da!”

They come and go, depends on how driven I am to write it. Spur of the moment most instances, though I can pull through in less than a few hours if the 'project' carries enough motivation with it.
