hmm I didnt know about Izayoi being the great sage equaling heaven's son,where does that rumor come from? though its possible that Izayoi is indeed from little garden

Saurian Demon King speculated that Izayoi could be a demi-celestial being of the earth or whatever like Son Goku, which following mythology would mean he has no parents. Son Goku was spontaneously born from stone.

Canaria used her power to create Code:Unknown, but she had no control over who would be born with it. Izayoi was presumably born to normal parents and stolen by Canaria.

Is he whole attitude based on the boasting of his headphones which any joe blow could pick up and use ?

Now I generally not big on spoilers, but if I have hit the truth, I sorta have to know the truth. No point lying to myself, so I kinda hoping that if I have hit the mark. Is Izzy such a fraud ? Is all that talent, something that only comes from his headphones ? I'm really hope its only a keepsake of his, but I cant shake this evil thought.

Izayoi's parent were already told by Izayoi that they gave up on him to the orphange because they can't handle him.

Kouryuu speculate that Izayoi is same type of existance as Sun WuKong (NOT GOKU).

When Kurousagi told Izayoi that Yo had the headphones Izayoi said he knew who stole his headphones because there was cat hair in the basket. He was just killing time until Yo decided to hand the headphones to him. From what i have read he still doesnt know that the headphones were destroyed which at one point freaked Kurousagi, Asuka and Yo out on what to do.

Also if you look at the recent novel cover Izayoi is wearing the cat headphones that Yo summoned so i guess he doesnt mind.

Well goku and sun wukong are basically the same character, sun wukong is the monkey king who goku is then based off of.

Also when was it mentioned that Caranria was responsible for code unknown. That is Izayoi's foster mom right. I thought she was the one who identified it as code embryo, but not that she had anything to do with it.

I am also shocked at Mondy, especially when you look at some of the things in the top 30. Plus what makes it especially weird is that Mondy is actually fairly far along in the translations when many of the other works are lucky to have one volume. I think the top 30 should be reserved for works with decent amount of work done.

But yea, hope magref keeps on the good fight, because as much as I liked the anime, I doubt we will get more, so LN it is.

「... Hey, Shorty.」
「Y, yes?」
「He was the one that did that to Kuro Usagi and Kasukabe?」
Izayoi asked in an aggressive manner to confirm his suspicion.
He used a voice without intonation. Every person nearby who knew Izayoi as a typically level-headed person had goosebumps. It was the first time Asuka and You ever heard Izayoi speak such words.
Izayoi watched His Highness approach expressionlessly with gradual steps and asked the boy himself.
「... Were you the one who did this to Kuro Usagi?」
He looked down at His Highness and asked with a cold voice.
His Highness gazed at him head on and calmly agreed.
「Yeah. I did that to the rabbit.」
「I see.」
--- In one moment.
Izayoi's eyes were wide open.
「Then --- There's no need to hold back, gray-haired bastard---!!!」
Along with his yell, he kicked His Highness in the side of his head with the power to break mountains and rivers.
「Gaaa....!!?」
He had used both hands to defend as he flew away with the kick. His Highness may not have been vigilant. It could also have been that Izayoi's attack full of emotion far exceeded His Highness' reaction.
Though it would not be strange for him to have lost consciousness from the surprise attack, he forcibly kept it with all his strength. Regardless, it was a fatal lapse in his judgment which could determine victory or defeat.
As a result, His Highness received the attack and was blown away.
Even if he could open the distance just a little --- he would not be caught by Sakamaki Izayoi.
「Bastard...!?」
Though His Highness grasped Izayoi's wrist, Izayoi's arm remained motionless.
Izayoi grasped His Highness' wrist and threw him with all his strength.
A blow which could shake a planet crushed the ground, causing the arena to sink. Even the underground water vein was affected.
Izayoi, full of anger, threw away all self-restraint and followed His Highness, destroying the surroundings. Izayoi typically restrained himself to avoid any disasters, but for this fight, he abandoned them all.
His beliefs were that he should not abandon his discipline.
However, seeing Kuro Usagi and the other two covered in blood, Izayoi forgot himself and roared like a fierce animal as he closed in on His Highness.
「Ya ha ha...!? Is, Isn't this bad...!?」
Jack had gone back to Kuro Usagi in a panic, lifted her in his arms, and escaped to the sky. Asuka as well as You escaped to safety, but they had no sense of relief.
Asuka saw Izayoi rage for the first time and could not help but take a deep breath.
「Th, this is...」
「... A tremendous anger.」
His third attack destroyed not only the arena but the exhibition corridor, and the pressure from his attack caused the nearest brick house to collapse. Despite being only three attacks, the onslaught was like a storm.
The side of his head, his chest, and his flank. His Highness was hit in those three places in quick succession. Blood leaked from his mouth as he fell to his knees. Though it was amazing that his body was still intact, it was a threat that his consciousness still remained.
Izayoi's anger broke as he pursued.
His Highness lifted his head and smiled directly at Izayoi.
「... You're late. What were you doing?」
Izayoi's run burned the atmosphere purely from his acceleration.
Izayoi brought his fist down without hesitation, but it only cut the air.
In the small distance remaining, His Highness disappeared.
「H, He disappeared...!? Impossible, he came at this time!?」
「A good guess.」
A theatrical voice called out to ridicule him.
It was an intoxicated voice uttered from the rubble in the arena.
The shadow of dusk enveloped the “Capital of Sparkling Flames;” however, the shadow was not limited to just one.
“Three Tailed Dragon” --- beneath the flag of “Uroboros,” strong people with sharp eyes had gathered.
「My my, how wonderful. That's quite some insight you have there. Perhaps your craftiness is worthy of caution, Master “Maker.”」
「Shut it. Don't talk now.」
Venomous words were spoken as Rin kneeled before His Highness.
「... What of His Highness' state, Aura-san?」
「There should not be any problems. Though he was injured in a flashy manner, there are no mortal wounds. All his vitals were barely missed.」

A lovely girl with long, dark hair --- behind Rin, joined the gathering of strong people.
A Gryphon with a jet black body.
A witch wrapped in a suspicious robe.
And finally, a conspicuous looking man – he looked like a clown, wearing blue and red, contrasted with a gray overcoat – who was releasing the most vigilance.
Asuka and You who had faced them immediately realized who they were.
「That Hood Girl... She is the one who attacked “Underwood.”」
「That black Gryphon, too. Then, that gray haired boy...!」
The main force of the Maou Alliance had gathered together, beneath the two who looked down from the sky.
「Victory in “Underwood” was not decided by ability. Each one of them holds a strong power. Still, it was possible to be defeated by someone with lower skill without proper planning.
Izayoi, who had cornered His Highness, could not careless jump at them. He remained due to a dangerous gaze aimed toward him. Asuka and You felt this and could not suppress their trembling.
「They are... the Community of Maou.」
「We're the Maou League, get it right...!」
The results were determined as they moved about the sky.
While keenly aware of their lack of power, the two still had a will to fight.
They were prepared to attack together, they had the resolution to fight on the front lines. While the two were keeping an eye on the Maou League, His Highness quietly looked at them. Aura wiped the blood off His Highness and straightened his appearance – He stood before the Maou League.
「--- Rin. The man who defeated one of the strongest species. Is it him?」
「Correct.」
「I see. Then he, too, is a Candidate for the “Origin.”」
He blotted the blood around his mouth and looked down at Izayoi who stood atop the rubble.
Izayoi angrily glared at they who shouldered the color of twilight.
While the two looked at each other as enemies, His Highness abruptly laughed.
「... Ha ha, what an amazing coincidence. To think the “Genome Tree” and a Candidate for the “Origin” would be in the same Community. Perhaps I jumped into this too quickly.」
『His Highness could achieve domination. --- What will you do? If you so wish, we could finish this right now.』
「Wait for it. We will retreat for today. The main unit of “Salamandra” has begun to move.」
He pointed toward the palace. From the palace, which was “Salamandra's” headquarters, a large fire dragon took flight.
The military police and Mandra noticed the commotion and took action.
「Though it might be interesting to fight against them, we went to the trouble of gathering these Maou together. I would like to play a Game... We have it ready, right, Rin?」
「Yes. The Game can begin at any time.」
「I see. Then we will leave... No, there is one more thing remaining.」
He laughed deeply. At that time, some of the rubble moved. Jin and Pest, who were blown away were finally able to escape the rubble.

He spoke unnaturally in order for those in the surroundings to hear.
「You two should be happy! Never forget this day! Let us continue our conversation --- Join the Maou league, please give it some thought!」
Everyone in the surroundings breathed deeply and looked at the two simultaneously.
In a place where many of the military police had rushed to, the enemy's leader shouted out those works. Everyone would think Jin and His Highness were working together.
The two would be thought of as spies, and their movements would be limited.
「Your Highness...」
「I said that a bit theatrically, but how about it, Jin?」
His Highness smiled cheerfully and spoke affectionately. There was no sign of maliciousness as the boy laughed mischievously.
Finally, Jin noticed what was happening.
Jin's shoulders drooped as he felt a cold sweat.
「You are... the worst.」
「Yeah, I know.」
Ku ku. His Highness laughed, having been seen through.
Rin, who stood beside him, looked down and smiled at Pest similarly.
「We are serious, Pest-chan. You will surely stand beside us. I look forward to that day.」
「... I see. However, I will have to apologize. Sorry, but I will formally refuse your invitation.」
She changed completely and spoke without hesitation.
Pest saw a small light in her Master, Jin. Though he was inexperienced, she was no different. Jin told her, for her wish, before relying on others, she should polish her own abilities.
He who shouldered the lives of only 120 people had grown.
In that case, there was no reason that she, who led 80 000 000 spirits, could not change.
「I will cut all ties with the Maou League. The next time we meet will be in battle. --- I will surely not forgive you, so make sure you're prepared.」
She clearly spoke with an assertive voice.
Rin heard her clear declaration of war. Her intimate and beautiful smile disappeared.
「I see... Then I will be sure of that. I wonder whether the grudge of 80 000 000 Spirits is worth changing the fate of this star. When your dream is broken... Only at that time will you return as a Maou. How regrettable, Pest-chan.」
She left prophetic words and turned away. It was an expression of parting.
As soon as Rin stood by His Highness, a snowstorm swirled about the Maou League.
Izayoi noticed the boy was similar to him. He stared at them, not forgetting a single word they said.
「Don't stare so much. We will finish this later, definitely... It will happen without fail.」
His Highness looked at Izayoi with his golden eyes until he disappeared.
Izayoi, similarly, stared at His Highness until he disappeared.

Most likely... He and this boy would fight to the death.
He held that powerful emotion which felt like destiny deep inside his chest.

Long time ago someone did a translation for a bit of the chapter, mostly about the fight with Izayoi. It was pretty epic (found on page 14)

haha yeah getting some STB activity was very nice to see! Slow and steady since it's daily updates but better than nothing yo~

No problem on the updates on the chapters. The feedback was good when I asked if people wanted updates here + noticed that baka-tsuki tended to only post about the chapter on fb roughly 5 hrs after I usually transfer them

Magref should see the posts. Not all that active here compared to BT or on his blog but magref stops by every now and then.

Edit: So I see Quol posted Volume 6 Chapter 8 in the comment above. I remember reading it when it first got posted as a lurker but could never remember which page it was posted. I'll send it to magref since it could speed up the release for Chapter 8. However, would you guys want me to transfer over Enigmatic's version in the mean time or nah?

Its all good, it got answered, water under a bridge now ^_^ I actually feel a little guilty for doubting Izzy (cause hes just so awesome), I guess I panicked a little <.<. Oh and my quick google search on layman said something about a priest? O_o Probably something I messed up.

Now that I finished volume 3, its kinda amusing.. How stupid was that, leaving cat hair at the scene of the crime. If the cat could of been any dumber, it would of been muddy paw prints leading to Kasukabe's room.

If I could bother yous again with a quick question about volume 3, I really liked the part with Canaria and her way of talking to Izzy through her will (that would be seriously creepy O-o). The question, Izzy seemed to have received 2 letters, which will had me thinking why he got two of them?. Later Leticia mentioned that maybe Canaria sent Izzy to Little garden which sorta rang the bells that lead me to this answer. Kuro Usagi sent the first letter which he was interrupted and stuffed into his bag, "probably" destined to be thrown out as junk at a later date? Thus Canaria had prepared the 2nd letter attached to her last will after showing some form of future telling. Giving Izzy to option to take the path to Little Garden if he so chose. In this way, this was her form of method of sending Izzy to Little Garden since the no-name crisis?.

Is this the proper way to interpret the events ? The timelines are sorta a little out of wack, but can be explained with the 3 problem children being plucked out from different eras.
