I'm still trying to make sense of the Yanagi nudity scene and I admit I was even thinking if Yanagi was trying to attract Yuki with her naked body, though Yanagi should know that Yuki's not at home... Besides, why shower before taking a run? So is the whole scene supposed to bring out that she's seriously distraught and hence did things mindlessly, including forgetting to put her clothes on? But it doesn't seem to imply this either...

I don't know what to do about Touko's visions yet, if they are premonitions or what. It's kinda complicated but interesting, they could either produce something interesting or utterly fail from this point onwards. I'm more for Touko ending alone at this point of time, in a way or another she appear to be flawed and perhaps Kakeru's presence is meant to fix that.

It's also difficult to translate what Sachi perceives. But if I have to choose, I'm not for the romantic vision of Touko. She likes, admires and is jealous of her, but I don't think they're going there.
On the other hand, she seems to be attached to Hiro, although I didn't like when she called him "her boyfriend" in previous episode. Commonly you say kare/kareshi to deliver the same message, using the english word made me suspect she was half joking when she said it, while poor Hiro was totally serious about that.

One last thing, I still expect the anime to explain why Hiro's sister came out from that hospital room crying, in the previous episode.

It was actually my biggest gripe with that scene, walking around naked could be plausible, I took it as setting a sense of freedom (other than offer some cheap fanservice).

However, showering and then going for a run made absolutely no sense. If I have to say, is she confused? That or a script flaw, since she could have done her run, and then took a shower with included fanservice.

Let me share my full take on Sachi, which admittedly may surprise some people given what I've wrote about her before on this thread. However, the latest episode, and the magazine scan that Thess provided a page or two back, does clarify things a bit for her.

I think that Sachi's "most important person" is Touko. I think she loves Touko, both as her best friend, and also romantically. Under different circumstances, perhaps in a world where yuri abounds (Saki? Sakura Trick? ), Sachi would pursue a romantic relationship with Touko.

However, the fictional world in this show strikes me as adhering pretty closely to real world modern Japan, and so there's probably a bit of a cultural bias against gay and lesbian relationships. Honestly, that's the only thing that makes sense to me for Sachi not acting more decisively on her feelings for Touko.

Sachi strikes me as a very practical person, and I think she cares a lot about her friends and wants to ensure that all of them (and especially Touko) are content and happy and on good terms with each other. So she strongly dislikes the impact that David is having on the group dynamics.

So Sachi is conforming with her society, and channeling her feelings for Touko in purely platonic ways. However, that doesn't make it sting any less when Sachi sees Touko in a romance with another person. That probably provides Sachi with extra motivation and reason to dislike David.

Having given up on romance with Touko, Sachi chooses to take a practical approach to romance. She recognizes that Hiro is a nice and reliable guy, and would probably make a nice boyfriend for her in all the practical ways. She's contented herself with that, and she sincerely prefers it to not having any romance at all (which is why she cried over Hiro getting upset with her in the 2nd last episode, and why she reached out to Hiro in the last episode).

It's possible that Sachi will have a change of heart, decide to throw caution and society to the wind, and confess to Touko. I'm not sure how likely that is, but there is some chance of it, I think. But it's also possible that Sachi may keep this bottled up for the duration of the anime, and/or that Touko will learn of it through a 3rd party like Yana (that's probably what is most likely).

I've been questioning how Yana even concluded Sachi's feelings from what Sachi said. Guessing intuition from being friends for so long + they're girls, but it's still odd.

I think the nudity scene was meant to symbolise Yana's emancipation and breaking free of her past burden of keeping her feelings for her step brother hidden. It's analogous to girls in ninja anime cutting their hair short with a single rough cut after a big epiphany.

Well Hiro noticed, didn't he? I've been suspecting that his last words to Sachi was exactly what Yana asked her this week.

This show is frustrating because it's visually appealing and does dialogue and subtlety well, but just like this group of friends separating and doing their own things, I feel like there's nothing strong enough to tie all those scenes together.

If Hiro noticed, it was because he knew what Sachi was up to and thought something like, "If she's willing to do this much for Touko and even lie to me then...", but Yana didn't know what Sachi was scheming. I figure it'd be easy for anyone to discern Sachi's feelings if they knew what she tried to do.

That's true, but it doesn't have to be from a single incident. Yana could have noticed Sachi giving off "vibes" before all this happened.

We also need to remember that Yana is the perceptive one of the group. She already read Kakeru's intentions almost immediately back then.
That's why I was under the impression that, since she didn't seem to buy completely Touko's rejection of Yuki, Touko wasn't completely honest about her feelings toward him. But, well, at this point is not very relevant.

About the ''future visions'', I think most of them are meant to show something bad happening to Hiro, Yana, Yuki and Sachi, some kind of tragedy, and leaving just Kakeru and Touko behind. I'm not talking about just the two of them in that snowy scene (which represents death?).

I think it's pretty strange that they are walking on train tracks. It's possible that Touko doesn't want them to go, and she probably tried to convince them to do so.

So I guess the ending of the latest episode is that Sachi has a thing for girls? I didn't see that coming at all.

I would think having them in there together would have been more awkward and painful for all parties?

Or is there something I'm just missing?

As for Kakeru, I think it's the opposite. He's losing the fragments, while Touko's visions are intensifying. It's like she almost absorbed his part of the power into her own.
