Yes, i did - and what i mean't there was a second season that continue's from the first.

But this what we're talking about is completly different, a season telling the story from a different part of the game (UBW & HF).. which imo could work.

Well, that's nice and not so nice...

I was hoping for a kind of merger. A brand new thing.

If we only get the Fate path... Since I was hoping for some Shirou/Archer material, I might be a bit disappointed.

The thing is that it's gonna be strange to get another season where the story starts from scratch. It's not a game so it might be strange.

Anyway, we just have to wait & see...

Fate arc is the worst of the 3 IMO how could they do this to us?

This is nothing like how Tsukihime turned out, believe me - just because they're not adding the stuff we want too, they're still showing the story at 100%.

Hot damn, I can't wait to see this.

The pics are really hyping it up for me, I can only hope it delivers.

The second/third season or OAV idea would be so awesome, even though it means far more DVD purchases than I would hope to encounter.

I'd love to see multiple perspectives from this story, something about these characters/setting/narrative really catches my attention.

Uh, what? They're being completely faithful to the game source, which was Tsukihime's problem. And the Fate arc isn't bad AT ALL. I assume that all the people saying that it's the most boring have in fact, played it? Reading summaries and expriencing it are completely different things. The Fate arc may have the most linear story, but it's by no means boring or bad. Though my favorite's still HF

Though I hope Village Idiot's "No UBW in the anime" doesn't mean what I think it means. I haven't even seen the episode yet... I'd recommend editting that out because it spoils game players (for once, only them) if it's true >_<

I think having the anime focus entirely on the Fate scenerio is good in the long run.

This way, the major drawback of a visual novel turned anime, the eventual butchering of storylines in order to merge everything together is avoided.

Now assuming that the anime + dvd sales is ultimately successful, a second/third season can be produced, this time based on UBW/HF.

A smart move by the animators.

I agree with you, and i still think Fate's probably the only one they could have used for the anime, and my fav' UBW~

1) The remix of エミヤ they used was pretty horrible compared to the sexyness of the game version (BGM used just before

Question: why would you want the rest of the game/anime spoiled to you ?
Not to mention an energetic fellow started translating the game, so even if that's 2 or 3 years ahead, you still have something to look forward to.

fict_ticious I can has drinks? Join Date: Mar 2006	Spoiler: Archer just... whoa. When I saw the gears and the graveyard of swords, I squealed like a little fangirl. I was hoping for a Shirou vs Archer moment, or his ending being that of "true" Archer - with renewed resolve and more Shirou-like. My hat goes out to our fallen comrade of red. Oh well, can't complain. Looks like we'll be seeing some Master+Servant action (cool!), and I'm still hoping they might squeeze in some UBW fights!
