You don't know that. For all we care they could really be making out behind the scenes in Kubo Tite's head. And besides, why does that bother you? It's a matter of opinion, don't think it hurts to have an opinion and people seem to like Renji/Rukia.

A crush is when you have very high admiration for someone. The major majority of very high admiration examples in anime just happen to be in male-female relationships. Do you say that a wife and husband happily living together have a crush on each other? You say they're deeply in love. Love is your actual feelings.

Obviously its random fan pairing. The two never related in the course of the story. I think its just made by people who are upset by the fact that the Rukia x Ichigo pairing leaves both Tatsuki and Renji in the cold. This way they're not as cold.

At least Yoruichi and Ichigo interact in the series. That gives some basis to figuring out their dynamic. I think it is cracked and ridiculous to put them together, but at least there is some chemistry to work with. Tatsuki and Renji is just pure guesswork and pity.

I think what's the most frustrating thing is that hard core fans of certain pairings tend to become extremely rabid who needs tranquilizers at least 10 times a day. Those kinds of people makes me want to bash my head at the stupidity of it all. Repeatedly too.

They are too creative. Most people who're fans of canon-pairings tend to be close minded and like I said, become rabidly obsessed with bashing other pairings. With fans of crack - they're open minded and I've seen this. I think they are creative. Probably just not logically considering the course of events that forces characters to interact. At least for the most part, people who likes crack pairings work hard (most in fanfic writing) to convince people how interesting a certain non-canon pairing can be.

Ichigo-Tatsuki: Because childhood friends (the Japanese phrase for it rings so much better to the ear) are... nice, you know.

Matsumoto-Hitsugaya: Tenth Division Captain and VP have the best rapport and working relationship. Plus, he's very cool, and she's very cool and very hot.
