Granted it's looking like the redhead is the main girl(which btw, I hope she dumps the loli form soon), but Ferumina and Lilliana could be future heroines. Hard to say, but I wouldn't count them out. Especially since Ferumina is set up to travel with the MC from now on and learn magic from him.

No harem is big ++ for me...i kinda got bored of the same fcking harem antics in each and every damn LN!! Feels good to see that authors are still going for non harem stories and focusing more on the metaplot of the series!

Definitely checking this out!

By the way, I forgot to mention, there is apparently quite a bit of difference between the webnovel and the published version. From what I've heard,more things are apparently added into the published version.

Tbh, I like academy more, since guild is so overused nowadays.

If you take smaller bites, you're less likely to choke on them.
Web versions are easier to obtain anyway. You don't have to wait for deliveries.

Just read the first 3-4 chapters of the WN and the fact that there is another major male character who wasnt just there to act as a wingman for the MC's romantic relationships made it feel so much better

Hero's name is Reiji if I'm not wrong and the female friend is Mizuki. Reiji is pretty much like a typical shonen archetype who helps the needy and the MC is just way too pragmatic!!

WN and LN versions tend to have differences since WN is basically like a draft without consultation of any editor..

According to what I have read on the Chinese forums, the LN version is vastly different to the webnovel but the general direction of the story is the same.I am going to check the LN version when the folks finish translating it.From what I understand, it is around 1/3 larger than the web novel.

I like the fact that the hero and the MC are genuine pals instead of having him as some sort of competitor/rival(which is always the case in other series when the hero isn't the MC.)

Keep in mind Suimei had been playing the weak civilian up to this point.
