I'm having trouble playing the files I download.

Whenever I download something...no matter what fansub it is. I've tried different groups and stuff...but they still won't play right. I mean they will play the audio but no video. Since they're all in japanese I kinda desperately need the audio. Besides...I love to admire the pretty things I download....or the gory things. Anyways...can anyone help me? or tell me what's wrong? T.I.A.

That means you don't have the right codecs. Download and install Fdd show, that should solve the problem:

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/f...3.exe?download

For more info, checkout the Media Configuration Guide:

BTW this should go in Playback Help instead of Download help.
