Based from the reactions from other site, it seems that they don't like the timing of the revelation for Erina. They would have prefer Erina accepted Soma as equal before knowing that his father is Saiba instead of chose to get closer to Soma because he is Saiba's sperm route.

Yeah, no.

Firstly, you're not the author (not sure what has the number of panels got to do with your assessment).

Secondly, you cannot be 100% sure she heard the entire thing. That's why I said there's every chance of it being that scenario.

Thirdly, that's not really an expression of being shocked, but more of being surprised/perplexed/bewildered. I don't picture her having that kind of look, when she finds out about it, IMO.

Still better than that. Learning about his father after she's accepted his food and they've become a couple would have been a predictable outcome, IMO. And in fact this is what I had in mind before this chapter. Never expected it would happen this soon.

Knowing Erina though, she'll probably dismiss Soma's statement as mishearing, but that last line is going to go through her mind permanently. And if not and she actually starts to get closer to him to ascertain if what Soma said is true... Either way, it's going to be a lot of fun from here on

Kind reminder: Though her words deny it, the truth is Erina had long acknowledged Soma's cooking prowess. To be more specific, since chapter 2.

Her tongue couldn't help but react to Souma's food because

1:It was good

2:Souma's cooking probably matches her desires perfectly
Since I doubt someone like Hayama or Ryo could give her god tongue that big of a foodgasm

Why should he? PSD is quite a safe zone with talented (while eccentric) students, he should be aware of it according to the spoiler.

He already said that he is fine with letting Erina do things as she pleases. While Erina is an important cog in his plan, it's probably not the time he need her yet. PSD isn't a real lawless / dangerous area and Azami seems to be perfectly confident in his ability to brainwash / control Erina if need to, he probably deemed it unnecessary to waste his time on doing his best keeping her confined while continuing with his plans (whatever those are).

Though he tried to seperate Erina and Hisako and according to Senzaemon, Azami would cut all the relationship Erina has.

And now he is being considered? Letting his precious daughter do as she pleased by staying with her friends ? It's kind of contradict with everything the author tried to build.
