A bit of revision before we continue:

Basic Controls:
or : attack

: Dodge. Move forward as well as sideways to dodge many attacks.
: Squat
: Jump
: Dash
: Jump Dash
: Guard when being attacked
Just Defense: Beserker/Assassin's special ability. Hit guard then moment your opponent's hit land on you to heal mana/hp.
Counter: Hit attack when your opponent does. A weapon clash will occur and the one who hit attack first will be stunned for a looong time.
Ex moves: When there's a move that can be done with either ABC, the version with C is called Ex move and they often costs 1 mana.

Now back to the character comparision:

Spoiler for caster:

Moves:
Caster does not punch people...every normal attack of hers is actually a magical attack!
in any occation.
Little laser. Very short ranged


Rock spike rises from ground to attack. You can hold right to make it attack futher.


Wind slash 360 degrees around Caster.


Ice spike forward direction.


Thunder strike. You can hold right to make it attack futher.


Flame strike 180 degrees in front of caster.




Laser beam all the way across the screen. The second one shoots upwards. Ex move costs 1 mana and unleashes 5 beams.


Rock spike. A bigger one.


An ice glacier drops from sky.




Wind pressure. Traps enemy within a bubble of dense air for a while. The first one has shortest range, Ex move has longest range.




Teleport to the right of opponent. The first one teleports right next to them, second one futher away and third one to the right and from the air. No Ex move.




Teleport to the left of opponent. The first one teleports right next to them, second one futher away and third one to the left and from the air. No Ex move.




Black mystic ball. First one has shortest range and last one has longest range. No Ex move.


Atomic shield. Can block EVERYTHING, even excalibur. Lasts 2 seconds.


Mana recover field. As long as you stay in it your mana recovers slowly.

Noble Phantasm:

Rule Breaker. Takes away all command matra off your opponent. Very short range.

Special move:

Fly up in air. Drains mana bar. In air extra moves are as following:


Still little laster. Very short ranged.


Fireball! Hold right to shoot horizontally.


Still thunder strike. Hold right to hit futher.




Laser beam, and it also shoots downwards. Ex moves launches 5 beams.


Mountain...just like normal B attacks.


Ice glacier...

Noble Phantasms can't be used while flying.

Strategy:
A special character. Here are a few usful and simple combos:

Expert's comments:
1) Noble Phantasms are useful against everyone. Whenever your opponent tries to melee you, stab them! When they have no command mantras left you can waste yours however you like.
2) The area of effect for 2C is very big, but the initiation is quite slow, so time it and press it before your enemy closes in. Then B 46B to waste their guard guage. When their guard gauge runs out, now it's your chance...
3)Teleport is a very useful skill. Though don't use it against computer--that's not running away, that's running into their combo.
4)Caster has many powerful and cool looking combo. The most important is to get the rhythm for each combo right.

In v1.11 Caster's Rule Breaker removes all three command seals of your opponent, not just one. Archer's traced version (UBW special move) removes two of them.

What do "rank" 's at the end of every character overview mean? The character's strength? Learning difficulty level?

Though I want the Hollow Ataraxia Saber...not evil Saber, just dark dress PO'd beat-the-living-piss-outta-you Saber...on second thought, that should be all characters' alternate costumes...their Hollow Ataraxia casual outfits, so we can use cute caster and beat the crap outta the comp and not feel that we're using this whacky-dressed witch but a cute blue-haired chicky

Ahh. Thanks for the information again. I can't imagine how many mistakes I will make without you around aldeayeah. Thanks again. I'll fix it up asap.

Rank is how potentially deadly powerful a character can be.

Moves:

Jump backwards.


Jump forward.


Jumps forward a bit. If enemy is in the way Hasan will grab him, throw him up and throw a few knives at him.


Jumps forward a bit. If enemy is in the way Hasan will grab him and throw him high up.




Throwing knives(007 anyone?). Hit A or B for the first two to throw a second round. Ex move throws 5 volleys and costs 1 mana.




Jumps up and throws knives downwards. Ex move costs 1 mana.(and throws much more knieves)



Throws knives upwards. Like the previous one, you can hit A or B for a second round.


Ex move. Throws knives directly upwards, which falls down later on ahead of you in a line. Ex move, costs 1 mana.


Invisible(to human eye only.) If hit Hasan will reappear. Temporary reappears also when attacking.

Strategy:
The first impression of Hasan to me is dodgy. Dodgy yet powerful. Normal attack are fast on both initiation and recovery. Throwing knives can be thrown twice in a row. Ex version cannot be dodged. Invisible is not really that useful...When at range throw knives. Use A hits when in melee range, or throwing your opponent.

Expert's notes: Focus on hitting and throwing.

Same with mine at times...it's a bit buggy, that's for sure. And there's still no nude code in Rider's case!

Edit: is there a way to play someone online with this?

Exactly how fast is it going on? Here's a way to test it:
turn difficulty to fatal. Be rider and fight beserker on roof top. At the beginning just run towards him. If he kills you in 5 seconds then the speed is normal. (100% sure about that)

And no, there's no online playing yet, though you can hook up another keyboard on your computer and play with your friend.(or share keyboard)

well the speed is fine when i fight comp in versus mode. its just in arcade mode. everything seems insanely fast. including myself which is not supposed to happen

Hrm, according to MOONPHASE, it looks like the PS2 version of F/sn will have added still art and added scenarios from the original staff, plus it will be fully voiced and will come out at the end of 2006.

I know what he's saying, dragon...the game DOES speed up pretty drastically if the fight's been going on for a while (I think it's a bug), which makes the timing of air juggles for instance very very difficult.
