It's like how some thought they'd adapt a more robo-oriented series like Knights and Magic, but then 8-bit was chosen instead. |

It's easy to forget that Sunrise doesn't do just mecha shows, and that they have a TON of shows under their belt across all sorts of genres. Hell, they're responsible for the Love Live franchise!

Yeah and especially when the LN is so good but underrated at the same time. Volume 10-A came out a while ago and 10-B is scheduled for December 10 so probably will end at the beginning of 2018 but who knows, Kawakami said there's more OBSTACLE stories coming and there's still the 2nd AHEAD / EDGE so he's probably working on those titles too.

Kinda ambivalent about the excessive addition of onomatopeia on the food the show is featuring. It feels unnecessary and gives too much praise about what food an izakaya typically provides. The depiction of food in Isekai Shokudou was tame in comparison, even though everyone did start going documentary-style about the food they eat.
I also noticed that this show is sponsored by a Japan tourism firm. I hope they don't overdo the "tourism" part. After all, everyone knows what happened at Kamogawa.
