Japan auction agency--bid for you?

As you know, most of people on Japan yahoo auction don't like to ship goods oversea so there are many of these agency who can bid for you and ship the stuff to you with some charge. Do you guys try that before? What agency do you recommend? Thank you.

I buy items from yahoo japan very often(mostly kits). You can try either one of these deputy service's:

Shopping Mall Japan: http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/
Akibado: http://www.akibado.com/index.html
CELGA: http://www.celga.com/
Rinkya: http://www.rinkya.com/

I use both celga and shopping mall japan, but I prefer SMJ better because of their great service and fast shipping

^^I'm wondering the same thing too.

btw..
I've heard of people using rinkya to ship car parts (wheels mainly), only to have them take time to resolve the problem of missing items..

i wonder if anyone has had that experience before??

The fees are usually quite complicated to figure out, but everything is explained on the sites. I personally used akibado, and apparently they were quite busy at the time, so things took a long time to ship, but alas, I got all the items I wanted, so I'm going to stay with them. Always keep in mind that using such agents is a complicated process which is a bit more expensive and it takes a long period of time. For things to arrive. Patience is truly a virtue.

Akibado is the cheapest based on what I remember and from a very quick glance at the other choices. Akibado also has the bonus of allowing you to order from actual stores (Toranoana and such).

As for experiences with Akibado, my first order with them was a bit meh as they never responded to any mails and shipping inside Japan was taking ages. In the end they did get the item though, after a bit over 3 weeks. On the other hand, the second order went really smoothly, so I'm willing to assume that the first one was just due to some unexpected problems.

I'm using FROMJAPAN's (http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/) service.
I'm quite pleased with them.

About Akibao:

This service is the most transparent among all others. Well BUT YOU NEED PATIENCE!!!

It could sometimes take up to 2 months or longer for the arrival of the item you won on an auction site to the akibado office. But usually it should take not longer than 20 days.

Well at the moment they may have some trouble in packing the items, well it's summer and they may have many orders.

The personal import service was quite fast. about 20 days for an eastimate and for the arrival of the items to their office.

JUST BE PATIENT!! ^^
