*eye twitch* Urge...to kill....rising.....gah!
Normally, my Bittorent d/ls at about 90 kb/s, which I find to be fast enough. But lately, its been downloading at a sluggish 5-10 kb/s(its at 8 right now). May I ask, what is happening, and how can I make the d/l speed up? Also, im d/ling Naruto 29-32 right now, that is the file thats being so slow.

Have you recently installed a new router, firewall or made any change to your internet connection?
It is also possible that your internet provider has marked you as a problem because you upload/download so much and choked your upload bandwidth as a result.

o_O Well, I usually DL at about 1--7 kb/s and I'm used to it. I've never experienced anything else. When it starts getting up to 20 kb/s I get excited. WOO IT'S GONNA BE FINFISHED IN NO TIME! -_____-
Right now FMA 7 is at 7.8 kb/s, FMA 6 is at 6.1, and FMA 5 is at a WHOPPING 20 kb/s. :\ How the hell do you get it going THAT fast?! I'm on a wireless DSL connection thinger-ma-whatsit if that makes a difference.....

I used to get 50-60 kb/s and 100+ kb/s rarely but recently I've been downloading at low speeds. I'm talking about less than 10kb/s, at times it even goes at 0kb/s. You say that uploading affects our downloads and upload at about 20+ kb/s but my download speed is still slow. Whats wrong???

The problem is that a lot of the people using the experimental BitTorrent client (or ABC, I've never used that so I'm not sure of its capabilities) are throttling their uploads. So even though there's reasonable numbers of seeds and leechers, there's less upload bandwidth for everyone.

It depends on what the seeds feed you... if they are using their bandwidth for something else, they can't give you as much, therefore you get slower speeds. Also, be sure that you are seeding as much as you can, because in BT, the more you upload, the faster you download. And, if you are on wireless, its going to go slower as well... because it's wireless. Try connecting to the router or whatever you use and it might go faster.
