Azureus Settings

Hey! today my connection doubled(the provider upgraded it for free from 512 to 1mbit) but i cant still catch download speed more than 60 kbit/s with azureus.
please if you know any settings it would be great. i have 128kbit upload so i 've 4 torrents and 8kbit/s upload speed. i also changed max torrents connections to 100
and the global to 167.
please any help would help

Run fewer torrents at once.

128kbit up isn't really friendly for running 4 torrents at once (it's not even friendly for running 2 at once)

As long as your connection supports high speed you should be able to get so. You need to keep your global upload speed at least 10kbps, otherwise, Azureus automatically limits your download speed (although specific file-based upload limits might allow you to overcome that limitation).

If I were you, I would try downloading a highly popular file (a few hundred pairs), keep my upload speed high, increase number of connections to a few hundreds per file, and check whether I can get good speeds or not. Also, try using another torrent program (although criticized for not being fair, Bitcomet is a good choice for high speed downloads) to see whether the problem is indeed torrent related or caused by some other program or settings.
