This has been a very enjoyable series to watch so far. Like Zero no Tsukaima, Gakuen Alice sort of carries that Harry Potter feel to it as well: students at a school of magic theme. And sure, everything follows a simple plot and there really aren't any big mysteries to completely engross a viewer, but nonetheless, this is still a very fun series to follow. Light-hearted humor, entertaining characters, a fantastic, isolated little world.

Mikan is such a likeable character too. In fact, I love all the different students and the unique personalities and Alices they bring to this show. I can't wait to see more.

Unfortunately seeing ADTRW release episode 16 gives me little faith that we'll be seeing episode 17 any time soon. They got a long history of only releasing a single episode of a show.

You'd have better luck getting your group to fansub this. You've got a long history of reviving dead subtitling, so go for it! After Keroro and Gargoyle, it only seems appropriate for Doremi to sub Alice.

Seconded, I'd love to see Doremi pick this up. I'm pretty much going to have to watch the entire thing again anyway since it's been so long between eps I can't remember what was going on any more heh.

I only do this because other groups start the same project, and I can't see any good reason to duplicate work. We'll stick around on this otherwise.

Can't promise much for speed, though, school's hard.

Has anyone finish downloading it yet? Cuz I did and so far its plainly raw.....unless I was suppose to get a coder @.@; Help please....I wanna watchie this episode

It has soft subs and plays back fine (minus the timing errors). Go post in playback help.

Some good news has arrived. In another place which cannot be mentioned here, the second episode of Bartender was posted by ADTRW. While that might not seem particularly relevant in the Gakuen Alice forum, except for a slight coincidence of fansub group, one needs to look a little deeper. Posted on that episode of Bartender was this comment:

Apparently ADTRW will continue to sub "teddy bears with axes." Unfortunately I don't know any show with that title...

the info on gakuen alice episode 17 and 16 are going to be posted by naisho. it is currently in the works and "supposedly" was never stopped in the first place. 2 timers are working on the shows now even though its been over 4 months. hopefully yall can spread the word to gakuen alice fans around! anyways, keep in mind that there is no SET date of when it is to be aired with subs and the like but it IS in production of being fansubbed.

p.s. for those of you who don't know, fansubbing is NOT illegal. There is a difference between FANSUBBING and ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES!!!!

If you had read this thread first, you might not have passed around so much incorrect information. Primarily, the problem is with typesetting, not timing. Also, fansubbing is illegal. Search this forum/the web more because this has been discussed to death. Now, let the stabbing for GA continue. *STAB*
