He probably means avatars. King_Cloud, go fiddle around in your User CP. Use the link at the top of the page.

Q: How do I get a picture under my username?
A: Those pictures are called Avatars. Anyone can select one by clicking on the

button on top, followed by clicking the "Avatar" link which will be the fourth link listed in a row below it.
