There's a new promo for 5 Centimeters per Second on Yahoo. The direct link to the stream is here (16mb).

The word 'godly' springs to mind when viewing...

Will School Days be the next Higurashi? But, as I like harems, of course, I'll watch it.

^^This just made my day.

And School Days is coming to anime? Hmm, not sure if I'd bother really. I've heard various things about the game that are serious spoiler material and it probably isn't my thing.

Wow, so 144 new anime series this year alone, and two third were broadcasted late night? That is a lot.

Unlikely, because the game isn't like "that" for the most part.

Well, more than likely they're being paid for the rights to have their proprety animated, but won't be involved in the production. As you said, they could probably use the money right about now.

Spoiler for Non-specific game ending spoiler:
Though I will convene that I would like to see Kotonoha in the anime snapping or violently bursting out just quite a few, isolated times.

She was one of the moe -est (at least looks to me) and innocent female leads in the game.
Spoiler for for the bloody endings of the game.:

If they decide to make Makoto a SOTB for the anime like in the game, then by all means, go Kotonoha or Seikai route.

If they decide to make him a all round nice guy. God forbid, have a harem ending for him.

Setsuna is a secondary character and it's not Summer Days we are talking about here, so it not likely that she will be central to the anime.

But the sex, the amount of sex, is too central to the game. whoable is porting the script from the game here has to be a good writter.

Resume For Takayama who is writting the script here.

Seems to have his share of good and bad releases here. (FMA, KGNE, Shuffle!, Demonbane.) I dunno about him.

Please take discussion of School Days and Saiunkoku Monogatari to the appropriate threads. This thread is for announcing anime and the discussion has passed the acceptable level even though it is very exciting.

Ok, maybe its better to wait for a confirmation of this, but no :P I can't wait anymore >.< there's a possibility for a second season of Suzumiya Haruhi and a second season of Zero no Tsukaima next year

This is a post by Sushi-Y from Suzumiya Haruhi (General Discussion) thread:

Also mentioned in that entry (and this was mentioned in a few other places as well) is a second season of Zero no Tsukaima in the works too (by JC Staff), also scheduled for next year Fall.

Might as well translate that entry:

PS. I'm surprised at the huge response towards the Haruhi second season rumor, even though I didn't even talk about it all that much. By the way, the source is a wire from the same person who provided me with the announcement of the new Eva movie earlier.
No, don't get as excited as I am right now just wait for a confirmation (I'm might turn violent if this turns out to be false LOL )

Broadcast: 2007

Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Mystery

Source: Monthly Afternoon Magazine January Issue (on sale Nov 27)

Based on the manga by Kumakura Takatoshi, serialized bi-monthly in the seinen magazine Afternoon.
Currently six tankoubon volumes have been released (would appreciate if NeoSam can post the covers).

Excerpt courtesy of AnimeNfo (edited for clarity):
A fantastic story about two sisters. Shizuru is a high school student who can see monsters which ordinary people can't, while her little sister, Mizuki, is easily haunted by these monsters. They are living with their grandfather's home separately from their parents because of their abilities. The theme for each story is not horror-centric, but rather, of a heartwarming nature.
