I was just going through the campf*ckuvote posts and stumbled on Koizumi Itsuki's, and it just made me laugh so much I just had to share it with you. Basically, LJ-ers submit a 'voice' of their character and the rest either vote you in or out, depending on how well you do, anyway... from Livejournal:

The unexpected disappearance of yourself, Nagato-san, and Kyon-kun was, of course, quite perturbing, especially considering... ah, well! What I thought at that moment was inconsequential. What matters is: thanks to an elderly gentleman calling himself The King, I've made it to this Camp Fuck You Die without incident. "Where is your God now?" he asked. A valid question, though perhaps not as pertinent as "why are you in my bed?" I'm particularly interested in your camp activities, such as the friendly encounters with your fascinating flora and fauna. Those vines, for instance. Is this a cultural thing? I'm familiar with tentacles, of course, but one would think the leaves and thorns would be troublesome. That young miss... sir? Miss. That young miss going "iyaaan, iyaaan" doesn't seem to appreciate that particular violation of her person. But no. I shouldn't be culturally insensitive. While I don't think I'll participate in that activity myself, I'll gladly watch. Please, carry on!

As for your other methods of entertainment, I do profess some curiosity. Perhaps I came here expecting something a little more typical of a summer camp; a folly of mine, admittedly, considering that it is December. Concessions must always be made, after all, for the seasons and the supernatural. I doubt Suzumiya-san or the other denizens of this camp would be entertained long by campfire songs and papier-mache, and everyone's happiness is, of course, in my own best interests. That said, if you need another player for "pin the tail on the voracious lake beast," I would be more than happy to volunteer Kyon~

In the meantime, would anyone care to join me in a pleasant game of Scrabble? I've had my offer accepted by a number of your less functionally-inclined natives, but there are only so many times one can spell "B-R-A-I-N-S-S-S-S" on the board.

To me, this is the second best thing since the TV series. Carry on...

Maybe it's my browser but I don't see that pic on either of the above sites, and the imageshack one is down too due to overuse - does anyone have a full size version, I can't make it out from the thumbnail. A google image search of haruhi+gaza turns up nothing.

Well, as rumours go, the happenings with JP website could be prelude to some sort of announcement (or it could be nothing, just staying true to the novels for the sake of it -- they've done it before...), but the asosbrigade.com is most certainly a license announcement of some sorts. Marking up animeondvd.com makes it most likely to be anime licensing (as opposed to light novels, manga, etc.).
