Who deserves an upgrade?

I do not think Shika deserves to be a jounin just yet. I mean analytical skills that rival those of a hokage are not enough. He needs to have more jutsus and increase his chakra capacity with training and experience (if that is possible).

Pre-timeskip

Definatly Shino- he's the only one that got truly shafted at the chunin exams... he's got a good amount of intellegnece and some good power... he would have made a good chunin if he was able to fight

Temari- Also a good balance of power and intellgence, another good chunin pick... she just had the misfortune of facing against someone even smarter than her

Maybe Neji_ not too certain... the may thing that held Neji back during the exams was his independance and arogant attitude, both of which i think he pretty much loss after the exams (well, atleast the attitude)... he seems like he'd have the intellgance and power to be a chunin...

Unless i'm forgetting anyone... NONE of the others deserve an upgrade... the rest of them are either no power (sakura, ino), all power and little brains(naruto, rock lee, etc), or All power, good brains, but serious arggogance (sasuke, maybe neji)

It takes more than just power to be a chunin... you gotta have brains, and some sence of leadership

Naruto- at this point i think he as enough sence and intellgance to lead a genin team... so atleast chunin... not sure about jounin (he's got the power, but sure about the brains)

Shikamaru- ok, seriously, with his performance in these latest chapters, he really does deserve jounin rank... his stamina is his only real weak point, but his brains alone seriosuly make up for it

the rest i think are fine were they are in there chunin/jounin ranks... though a few might possibly be close to an upgrade to jounin, but i'm not sure

if cheese4u is asking for those still eligible for ranking (i.e. non missing nin) then i would pick shika and naruto. Other than that, kabuto look alright a choice to me, after all kabuto did manage to put up a good fight against tsunade.

Tenten. Totally. She really needs more to do with the storyline, especially if she's gonna get with Neji (which she better!)

Ermm....... I think Hinata needs a serious upgrade too.... Same goes for Ino.... Sakura's already got her upgrade in Naruto II.

Itachi needs to be promoted to Konoha's Hokage.
Naruto should have been promoted to at least chunnin, In part 2 he is much smarter.I'm not sure if Kakashi was Anbu or not in part 2, but if he wasn't...promote. Joking about hokage promotion, I think that's about it.

Sasuke isn't a dropout, he left the village to join a stronger one. He is most likely Jounin rank, like Neji, Kankuro, Temari.
