mysql viewer?

Does someone know a good viewer for a mysql DB? I'm trying to code an app coupled with a DB. I want to have something to see what is actually in the DB in order to make some tests.

Thats true. And phpmyadmin is a good tool unless one tries to view extreme large tables.

So? Just install WAMP Server (it's free).. it's one of those server install-packeges (nice and clean uninstall too)
I use is so much that I have it set so it loads at start-up, it hogs almost as much memory as notepad, the windows one :P

When you have it installed you just place all your scripts and stuff in the www directory (by default "C:\wamp\www").

BTW phpMyAdmin is included in the packege..

---
The nice thing about using it and not some host on the net is that you can test everything in you page/app withouth making it public.
WAMP by default will be set to OFF-LINE, as in only accepts request from the localhost(as in your machine)

phpmyadmin is just a single emerge or fink command away (depending on which computer I'm using in my house). I don't think I've ever used it on a windows machine.

EMS MySQL maybe ?
Linux has some nice mysql tools. There's also a nice Java db manager, but I totally forgot what it was called.

One thought about installing phpMyAdmin, if you install it on a webserver which faces the Internet, be sure to secure it with a .htaccess file so you don't have unauthorized entities accessing it.
