DMZ on home routers

I'm thinking about DMZing one of my IPs behind the router so that I can make it fully available to the outside network, but does enabling DMZ on a router cause problems if any other computer that has any type of port-forwarding/triggering (sometimes Virtual Server and Special Application) settings enabled?

This depends on your router. Sometimes the DMZ takes priority over all other settings. This isn't supposed to happen but due to the coding of some routers, it does. What should happen is that it first checks the virtual servers/port forwarding/etc and then sends it all to the DMZ'd computer if it doesn't match any of those rules.
