Another Ikkitousen Wow im not really sure what to say. I own the whole series dont ask me why. The funniest thing i can think of was when i showed a friend the series and he asked me what it had to do with Dynasty warriors. I tried to explain to him that the warriors were suppose be the reincarnations of the romance of the three kingdoms period. But the names had been translated into Japanese. Apparently it was too much for his brain. LOL

Anyway the story sucked ass but the characters were funny to watch and it did have some girls in it and we all need some fanservice in our life. Ill guess i will have no choice but to watch the sequel. I think if you go into it not expecting much you will be able to enjoy it. I do hope there is more fighting though

Oh and did i mention its nice to see Guan Yu reincarnated as long purple haired hot chic with big breast. At least the gave her the appropriate weapon the blue dragon spear and i guess her long hair repersents Guan Yu's long beard.

I concur. Ikkitousen is fairly idiotic. There is no need to excuse the idiocy of the story, you know, because the story is not the reason why people watch it. And people watch it because it has nude chicks.

I don't think it's smart to deceive ourselves that there is in fact any other reason.

Heh, i wouldn't say rip-off at all. & while we're on this kinda of subject - Battle Club needs to get a animated series. :3

I actually enjoy Ikki Tousen for the story, it could be to do with its link to the epic past which we're always reminded off.

I've read both Tenjou Tenge and Ikkitousen and I don't see how Ikkitousen ripped off Tenjou Tenge. It can't be the story, it can't be the characters... well they both have chicks with big chest if that's what you meant.

But my opinion Tenjou Tenge does have a better story but Ikkitousen have a lot more lovable characters. Tenjou Tenge have a more serious side while Ikkitousen it's all about fights and tits and panties. I still like both.

Oh I understand it all right. I have read some of the manga and its much better than the anime i too enjoy the epic past part of it. I would have to agree that Tenjou tenge more enjoyable than Ikki Tousen in terms of plot but everyone is different they are people who did not like Tenjou Tenge.

Bottom line is Ikki tousen is fun to watch and thats fine by me im not looking for a masterpiece here.

The original Ikkitousen was a bad show, but it's also one that I had fun watching. While it's obviously designed to appeal to prurient interests, it can still be enjoyed on other levels. In a way, I think that it's lack of seriousness and subtlety allows it to play more to its strengths (and the characters are definitely one of these strengths).

Dragon Destiny is probably going to be a bad show as well, but if it can maintain the same entertainment level as its predecessor, then I think that it'd be well worth watching.
