Anyone know how to take screen caps of video files?

Because I totally don't know. Any help?

Use something else than Windows Media Player

VLC and BSPlayer can make nice screencaps by pressing a single button on your keyboard while watching ^^

If you're using Linux, pretty much any video player can make screencaps and if not, ALT+PRNTSRN under Gnome or KDE.

I use WinAmp. And I did not know that VLC does that so I guess I'll use that. Thanks. I also found out that SnagIt could do it and I've had SnagIt forever. Haha.

If you're using VLC, Default key is ALT+S
If it's not working, you can set it in the preferences, but you'll need to check the "Advanced" checkbox.
