Ah, gotta love the Dating-Sim Market. Anything and everything can be used as sources of inspiration.

Now, I know this will only happen when pigs fly, but if the allowance for homages continues, the (hopeful) logical conclusion will be:

Bible: The Dating Sim!!

Samson: The Tsundere Karate Girl Who Nobody Can Beat.
David and Goliath: The Cute Constantly-Bickering Twin Sisters.
Moses: "The LONG Haired Big Sister/Oneechan character."
Abraham: Messed up sports teacher obsessed with killing her own daughter.
Jacob: The Mischevious "Lying" Science Girl With A Cute Grin.
Cain: Quiet "Gothic-Loli-Rei" type goth girl who accidentally kiled her twin sister.
Ramases: "Moses' Rich-Princess Half Sister With Hunks-Henchmen and Evil Laugh."
Pontius Pilot: The Sexu Closet-Romantic School Principle trying to keep order.
Judas: The "Backstabbign Gossiping Pretend-Best-Friend."
Jesus: "The Sweet Girl Next Door," the ultimate prize.

Mary And Josep: Cute Young "MILF" Mommy and Good-Hearted Clumsy-Dad.
Mary Magdelene: Jesus' Yuri Best Friend With Glasses and Maid Costume.

Hey, since parodying Eastern Gods and Warriors is considered "okay", it's only fair if it applies to western ones as well.

No no no, he's refering to something else.

The Japanese generally can't tell Elijah from Elisha to bother making the whole Bible as an AVG.

The Three Kingdoms is hardly the first Chinese work to have been exploited by Japanese manga/anime/games/etc. The most popular works to base stuff off of seems to be the Journey to the West and the Four Legendary Beasts. I don't know if a bishoujo game exists based on the bible, but the Angel Sanctuary manga is sort of similar to what you're proposing (Admittedly, it's based more on Kabbalic texts than the bible). The bible just doesn't seem to be popular enough in Japan to serve as the basis for creative works.

Ultimately, Ikkitousen is only very loosely based on the 3 Kingdoms. It's different from genuine manga adaptions of RoTK or even those that take certain liberties with it's story-telling porpotions like Legend of Dragon's Son or Ravages of Time. Really, it's no worse than Saiyuki making out the innocent, meek yet highly disciplined monk Xuan Zang into the gun-trotting smoker Genjyo Sanzo or even altering the epic adventure/quest of enlightment into a quirky jeep journey to defeat evil.

Ryuuroden/Legend of Dragon's Son is looong due for an anime adaption.

Just watched the trailer, there's full frontal nudity, wow. Do I have to watch the original series before watching this to understand what's going on or is this pure fanservice? Just judging from the trailer, this would make a good hentai. I hope they make an H ova for this.

Like i've said before - it looks like they plan to carry on the story from where the first series ended, using manga material. Best way to go if you ask me.
