What time does it air exactly, anyway? I know 2chan usually has a thread about the latest episodes and talks about it while it's airing at that exact time.

From Random Curiosity (Omni's blog):

Airtime in Japan (JST, GMT+9): Thursdays at 25:25
Airtime in U.S. (EST, GMT-5): Thursdays at 11:25

So yeah, it airs today. Roughly eight hours from now...IIRC (at least that's when pics start appearing on the 2chan boards). Just check the time above my avatar and add 8 hours to know the ETA.

in Europe the airing time would be around Thursday between 7 PM and 9 PM i beieve, mostly because the RAW gets out around 10 my time

this is actually one of the episodes i am looking forwar to, specially after being dissapointed in episoe 17

^ Fuzzy cap of the shots in it. From the staff list the Code Geass crew seem to have worked extra hard on this episode. There are 7 art supervisors for this episode plus 2 chief supervisors (KimuTaka being one of them). All the other episodes before this have about 2 or 3 art supervisors max, and 1 chief supervisor (ChibaYuri).

If I had to guess, I'd say that episode 19 was one of the biggest reasons for episode 17.5. Also, the scriptwriter for this episode is actually Yoshino Hiroyuki, not Okouchi. That was probably Yoshino's explosion warp in episode 18, then >__>

One liner dialogue spoiler for Stage 22: The Bloodstained Euphie:

????: "There can only be one Messiah..." (This, combined with the title ep, really reeks of "Character Death!!11!")

Summary:

- Gawain appears in this episode, confirmed
- The two teams will have to cooperate with each other in this episode despite differing opinions
- What happens on the island will greatly affect the character relations from now on

Producer Kawaguchi's personal recommendation:

- Someone (a man) will unexpectedly return in this episode. At this moment it's unknown whether he's referring to Bartley or Orange, but I'm thinking Orange, since Kawaguchi seems very excited about it.

- Producer Kawaguchi's comment on Lelouch and Suzaku in this episode: "Lelouch, you are so..." (Hint: Kawaguchi is one of the biggest lovers of Lulu quality)

- Viewers will gain a little understanding on what Schneizel's character is like

- This episode will be a sort of turning point

Haven't seen any RAW/pics up yet but seen from the preview this episode looks interesting

the correct response would be "this was done in half the mecha series ever made, and a number of series that weren't mecha at all."

and this seems to actually have more development than the GS island episode (but that's another arguement). but yes, now to wait for more of the weekly SEED comparisons by us all.

I'm surprised how much stuff it actually seems they'll fit into this episode (getting to know Schneizel, return of Orange, character development for the 4 on the island [though as usual I'm guessing that doesn't include Suzaku >_<]).

kinda surprising after an epic episode like 18. would have thought things would slow down more. not that going fast is a bad thing. ^_^

Well, since CG is probably gonna have 4 seasons it's natural they slow some down

I'm not sure what did Lelouch do in this ep - there is one shot with his Geass lighting up and Suzaku on the other side. I can't tell whether it was in this or the previous ep, prior to the big bang.
Also, it's interesting to note that Gawain is 1.75/1.8 times the size of a regular Knightmare Frame.
Looks like we have another look towards that C.C.-civilization. Those ruins seem to be of Asiatic style. Maybe some precursor civilization? (Newtype once hinted that the power of Geass was linked with the very existence of Humankind, so...)
All BKs have survived (there's a sneak peek of Chiba in one shot), but I can't say about the mechs (Gekkas, Crimson Lotus 2nd).

more quick thoughts:

-the gundam jack finally occurs! horray for Kallen and Lelouch teamwork. (it was also cute to see Kallen riding on Nekomimi's shoulder)

-I think I'm going to hate Suzaku even more after this episode, as we get to compare what a jerk Suzaku was with Kallen to how surprisingly nice Lelouch was with Euphemia (Lelouch really needs to do something about that pride of his -_-)

-it's going to be interesting to see how the Order gets along without Lelouch to keep them in check.


-Schniezel found the Zophar! err..or something like that

looks like an excellent episode. and we're going right on to another mech fight next week. ^_^
