Just watched the preview off of the kyoshiro website.

I think Soujiro is going to try and save the AA's, but that bishie squad is against it. I personally think Jin is either working for Kazuya, or is wanting to support him. Why else have Soujiro at sword point? Himiko is obviously gonna try and save her woman. It's almost guranteed Kyoshiro will be helping them, or at least trying on his own after he comes to grips with reality and pulls himself together.

Did anyone else notice at the very end of the preview, when we see the white horse trinket fall on the floor, there appears to be some kind of metal piece inserted into the side? Hanging from the metal piece are three colored balls: green, red, dark blue. Now lets see here, what are the AA's colors outside of Kuu? Green, red, dark blue. I sense a connection!

So it's not Tarlotte to the rescue....Kazuya managed to capture her too.
The morality squad is coming back, and so are the shower/bath scenes.
The girls coming out of some pods, I have a feeling they might be Steel Angels.
Kyoshiro angsts some more, especially over those glasses.
Sojiro has some business with the morality squad and Himiko.

You know, when Kyoshiro told Kuu about the incidents regarding his brother and AAs, I though this series was far more related to Steel Angel Kurumi than to Kannazuki no Miko.

Now, with the recent developments, I realize this show could be (and maybe it is) a direct sequel to SAK.

I remember when Dr. Ayanokoji (Kyoshiro's grandfather?) reaveled the secret behind the Steel Angels; they were designed based on "Angels". It never is explained what that means. But now, knowing that Valticia's soul is inside an SA's body (which means they're compatible enough for that kind of transference), and that her complete form, Cielo, wasn't created by the Ayanakojis, but rather they were just researching about her. I really believe the "Angels" grampa Ayanokaji mentioned in SAK are what we know now as Absolute Angels (at least the real ones like Cielo).

Depending on the person's views, A LOT. Call me odd, but always sypmathize with the good guys. I feel BAD for the person who mourns a partner's passing - which is extremely rare for 'the bad guys'. I sympathize with the girl in love with a guy who doesn't love her back, but is still able to give up everything for him - which is rare for 'the bad guys'. Normally; the girl would want to force the buy to fall in love with her, of course, if the's a 'bad girl'.

I understand what you are saying, but that was not exactly my point Of course, most of the time i sympathize with "the good Guys"and i don't like "the bad guys", but that is not exclusively true for all occasions. Also, just because a person is not a saint and behaves in a questionable manner does not make him a "bad guy" out right. And deducting whether the guy is good or bad based on my ability to sympathize with him/her wouldn't make for a very accurate judgment

Lets take Fate from Nanoha series.

In first season she was clearly the main antagonist of the series - collecting the Jewel Seeds for her own selfish purposes and beating up "the good guys". Teh evil, ne ?

Why was she doing it? Because of her mothers wish - she was just a 11 or so old girl who just wanted to earn her mothers smile or even the smallest form of affection, so she gave it her all. Didn't stop her mother from beating her with a whip regardless of what results she achieved, and requesting of her to work harder.

Obviously, the "bad guy" of the series is Fate's mother, not Fate herself, even if it was Fate who did all the jewel hunting and arse kicking.

Fate is my favorite character from Nanoha by far, and i could truly sympathize with her, despite her being "on the bad side".

The situation with Kyoshiro is similar to a degree(basing his actions in order to carry out the "will" of his closest family member). And while i am not sympathizing with him out right, calling him a bad guy is a streeeeeetch.

Again - concluding that a character is "bad" simply because i don't sympathize with him is not very objective, because that would make Kira(GS/GSD) the biggest bastard in the universe, because my grandest wish was for him to die.

Well, see, I was saying more over it's makes them a bad guy to that person. I don't mean bad guy - bad guy in this case, more like bad character. (Before I was going on and on about how I sympathize with certain characters.) To them, they're the antagonist of the show. It depends their own personal views. For example, a lot of people (Myself included) would drop this show if Kaon and Himiko were not in it. I'm not interested in Kuu or Kyoshiro, or Taroutte or anyone else prsent in the cast. Setsuna? Yes. But I'd get along fine with fanfiction. If Kaon and Himiko were not present, this series just wouldn't be worth it for me.

In the end, what I was tryin' to say was - depending on the person, they'll either find the character to be a bad guy or a good guy. The cases of Fate and Kyoshiro are hard to classify - since well, yes, they need to be punished for the bad deeds they did. It's a bad deed. It's needed to be punished. There's no excuse for wanting to kill someone (Referring to Kyoshiro). The only way for him to redeem himself is to try to save the AAs now and prove his view has changed. His heart was in the right place, and maybe it's the just sadist in me, but when someone does like that, I'd rather like to see a nice dose of justice either way.

I do get a lot of Utena vibes from this show, especially with the Ouji-sama parts, and Kuu with the rose in the closing. Kannazuki no Miko's opening actually reminds me more of Utena since there were these shots in the opening that were almost exactly like some in Utena's opening (lying in the grass anyone?)

Actually, "Himemiya" can translate to 'The Princess/The Royality'(I think) - and "Miya-sama" means "A Princess" (Again, I think). Both Anthy and Chikane could be related to one another, but Himemiya is a very popular name for 'royality' like characters. It's possible that KAISHAKU took points from Utena (Which was "The Flagship Girls' Love Series" before Kannazuki came along), but I kinda doubt it.
Roses are symbols of romance - and are often associated with fairytales. What comes to mind when one thinks of fairytales? Princes! So yeah, it's possible they took a leaaf or three out of Saito Chiho's book - but I personally kinda dount it.

but this is all after kazuya showed up...i bet that before kazuya and his badass attitude showed up 99% of people here were actually starting to dislike kyoshiro for the way he thinks ~ ofc now knowing the situation our opinions have changed (which is what the writers wanted all along ~ dam i dont like playing into someone else's hand )

Both Touga and Akio are from the animanga series Revolutionary Girl Utena, which the translation of Shoujo Kakumei Utena. Touga is a playboy with a dramatic backflare. A pretty boy who's very popular with the girls. Akio is the same - though he is a bit more ... 'crazy'? XD

Also, Touga has bright red hair like Kazuya. Akio/Dios has purply-white hair. Touga and Akio both pretended to be Utena's prince, but Dios is the real one (confusing I know). They're both really dramatic, complete with all the hilarious poses.
Saionji's personality is like Kyoshiro's, but he's got long, wavy green hair.

Any guesses for the ending? There are only three episodes to wrap everything up, plus at least one episode of plain Kyoshiro angst.

On the main website, there are details for the third DVD special, which is coming out in June. It's Kuu's observation logbook on Setsuna...and it shows how she saw how kindly Kyoshiro was treating Kuu, so she imitated.
