Can you recommend any new ones that just come out this year?

Maria-sama ga Miteru is easily the best this season IMO.

I'll back Uninhabited Planet Survive and Maria-sama Ga Miteru above all. Links in sig.

Runners-up:
Gokusen.
Diamond Dust Drops.
Area 88, but it's not new.
Massugi ni Ikou. (very uncertain -- single episode out and nothing great)

Things I have disliked or not liked enough:
Cosmopolitan Prayers.
Gravion Zwei.
Daphne in the Brilliant Blue.
Popolocrois.

Not seen:
Chrono Crusade.
Mezzo DSA.
Yumeria.
Cosmic Party Revolution.
Monkey Turn.

Since the original poster was watching Maburaho, I suggest Yumeria. Better than Maburaho imo.
