I liked the second episode a lot more than the first (might just be me getting used to the style). I think I was able to identify a lot more of the jokes and anime references, from Hare Hare Yukai on the Taiko Drum Master to Virtual Fighter 5 and so on.

There's one thing I've been wondering about -- the reference in the OP song to "Catch and release". If it has a meaning similar to what it means in fishing (you pull a fish out of the water, and then put it back in alive), then it is an incredibly disturbing reference.

This ep was a lot better than the 2nd one. I loved the Gunbuster theme and referrences. The nod to Haruhi was funny, too. BTW, how many people are in Kagami and Tsukasa's house? Do they have 2 older sisters?

I also liked their non-school clothes. Really cool looking. And how many times did Minoru appear in the real show? From what I observed he was in the show at 6 minutes, answering the teacher, then 15 min 30 sec, standing in the background, and then he was the waiter at the karaoke place. I think he was also in the 1st ep at the "grades board," the guy looking disappointed when seeing his grades.

Which is kinda funny because Konata is basically Anonymous.

Still, any moeblob anime where the main character is a loli that plays h-games is a must-watch for the first few episodes at the very least.

Second episode was great, probably more fun-fun then the first. People who didn't enjoy the first episode might find this one a little bit better.

Kona-chan's day isn't a shocker, but its made of so much LOL. Same goes for the arcade scene & Kyoani's version of Virtual Fighter 5. Also, it looks like we'll be getting a different ED song each time --- hope they all appear for sale.

I also liked the part where Tsukasa and Kagami were thinking various jobs that Konata might've gotten. When they imagined her as a cashier at a convenience store, the way she mumbles "That'll be 498 yen" "Exact change" "Thank you come again" in a very monotonous and slurred speech is soo true wwww And Konata's "yeah I'm giving you a smile, got a problem with it?" as a McDonald's attendant wwww

Hirano Aya wins this episode too, though. She shows so much variety in Lucky Star, it's amazing. Favorite quotes: "Drill is a guy's ロマン(ideal? Never could find out a good English word for this. I wonder what a.f.k. will translate this into)!" and "It's $#@AAA..."(in the store).

This episode was funner than the first one, since it dealt more with Konata's otakuness. Still, I found myself losing a lot more dialog from the raw than in the first episode, so I'll need to watch the subbed version to give any final conclusion. But yeah, this was fun, very fun. Specially Konata's golden week days and her possible jobs (sswishswishswishenssu xD). By the way, could someone completely fluent in Japanese tell me what was exactly Konata's job? ただのコスプレ... what? I didn't get the last word.

The mods need to make a forum ASAP just for Lucky☆Star before it gets too big. 1000+ posts for just the first two eps is way too much.

I especially like the beginning part when they compared Tsukasa and Kagami life in the hours of the day and Tsukasa sleeps until noon. I also like the part when they played that beating drum game in the arcade (not really sure what that game is really) and the UFO catcher.
